I wish this game was more popular, I've been playing for 4 years and still haven't gotten tired of it.
Jump in, shoot people, get shot at. Simple fun

I don't feel like kids are a big issue here. Of course it is gonna be annoying when someone throws a fit in chat or over the mic, but you don't need that someone to have fun. You don't desperately need everyone to play at their best to have fun when playing casually on a public server. You are going to have 11 teammates most of the times, one of them being an annoyance will not ruin your game once you have muted him from the in-game menu.
A big plus of this game is that you can enjoy it both taking it easy and trying hard... Are the players on your current server trying too hard or messing arround too much for your likes? Just hop on another server and start over, there is no matchmaking queues, ranks or progressions to stop you from doing it
