Furries. A real sight to behold; the moment I saw them, I threw up, was nauseated as ♥♥♥♥ and had to go to the Emergency Room. A severe allergic reaction to these things called "Furries" is what caused this. Hives, all over my body. Not a place to go to if you do have these reactions. (You don't get this if you're delusional, so if you are... maybe. You could probably survive, or let alone, become one of them)
Yes, there are cool people in VRChat, but the side effects are extremely harsh and if you're willing to take them, go ahead.
Side effects include:
Psychosis,
Schizophrenia,
Obsession to Anime Girls, Furries, Lolis, Traps and other ♥♥♥♥,
and all of this is a coping mechanism to get escape from the real world.
VRChat is not a fun place. Face reality, and stop being a shut in piece of ♥♥♥♥ and probably go outside (to get some fresh air, CORONA still a thing in 2021! and hopefully it'll end.)
Got a story for you. Had a friend named BOOHLIN!! or DOMMMMMMINIC whatever this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ name is... he was obsessed with girl, blamed her for multiple things that didn't include HIM, example; taking care of him 24/7, dealing with his frustrations, venting, sleeping with him in VC, all things she didn't want to do. She decided to stop, making him super sad and he blamed everything on her,
and now he has tried to escape from this harsh reality (he excruciatingly turned all his problems thinking he was in hell, when clearly, he was not) by hopping into VRChat. To impress this girl, he bought VR headset and now he has become a furry who RECEIVES and GIVES headpats, as well as finding new women (that's pretty good, but hey, you're becoming a outcast, also additional information, HE IS HOME SCHOOLED AND DOESN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THAN AND THEN) and touching their virtual titties which clearly do make the women comfortable. How?

just rambling here, honestly please don't play this game, in 2018 it was the bomb, but now it's turned to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ please stay away from this game before you become like Dom/Boohlin
