Great Game

It's Borderlands 1, I have to say out of all the Borderland games. It's still my favorite. The game feels just the the same, changes that they added to this version of the game compared to the original are great (Better aiming, more guns, game looks more crisp) Very fun game and a must buy for people who miss the good old days of Borderlands 1

Skate XL is a very good game for a game that is Early Access. Many games at the moment that is Early Access just feel rushed and just feel like cash grabs, but this game does not feel the same.

I don't like comparing this game to other skateboarding titles like Skate or Tony Hawk Pro Skate because those games are made my Tripple A gaming companies that have thousands to millions of dollars to spend on those games. So that comparison you will not see in this overview/review.

Worth the price?

I look at like this, yes the game is not very expensive but cheap as well not. But for what it is the game is great. But many complaints I have seen is the game only offers one map. Yes, this is kind of disappointing, but the thing that people do not realize is that well the game may not offer a lot of parks but, for that, it offers an amazing skateboard/player feeling. They put most if not all their time into being able to make the gamer feel like they have full control of the skateboard. This is what makes the game so great.

Controls

First, off you have your left and right stick, each stick is for one leg, then you use the left and right trigger to turn left and right. Now, this lets you do some interesting tricks because you can then chose if you want to catch the trick with your front foot or your back foot making some trick combos look very cool. As well that, it can get very useful when grinding because you can change the positions of the skateboard with the triggers but as well change the grind midway using the sticks to do tricks and such.

Modding

The game is moddable but its new at the moment meaning the creators need to get a hang of how the game works to great new parks and such, but we already have textures for new clothing and board arts.

How the game looks

The game looks great, the style of art is very nice and feels very fitting to the game.

Some of the negatives.

You are not able to get off your skateboard, the games still has bugs that sometimes can get annoying etc.

Final Verdict

If you have the money to spend and love skateboarding games, I think this is a must buy. The game has a lot of potentials.

The game is the best trucking game you will find.

The game is great it's not buggy the AI knows how to drive, the trucks feel great. The map has a lot to offer and lets not forget the combination of maps and mods makes the game even feel better. Mods like Promods that adds another bunch of map tot he game, new trucks, cars everything.

The game is never ending fun!

The game concept is not bad, it has a lot of potential but I think the biggest issue right now is, the game feels unfinished. I know the game is super early access but the way it plays, it feels like it should be more around the price range of 10-20 € max. I would say for now just wait, till the game gets better, I myself will be retrying the game in a few months to late 2019.

A very fun free 2 play fps game that sadly is not really popular anymore. It's one of the only games that I have played in the free 2 play category that throws so many permanent gun unlocks and such at you. As well you can perm buy guns with ingame currency. Sucks that the game is not that popular anymore as it's honestly a very decent F2P game

The concept of the game is actually really cool! The game inself is pretty fun but the issue is Hackers and as well it's buggy. You can feel that the game is in E.A but that's not a bad thing. I think it's something everyone needs to try out for them selfs. It may not fit a lot of people but the people it will, they will defenetly find it fun for a bit.

One of the worst battle royal games I have ever played. This is like playing in a casino. Russian Roulette style. Shotgun one times dose 1 hit kill the other you can shoot one whole mag into him and he wont die. The guns feel like ♥♥♥♥, the game looks like ♥♥♥♥, and plays like ♥♥♥♥. You are better off cutting your balls off then playing this game.

The game itself is pretty fun but BULKHEAD is probably one of the worst game developers I have seen in a long time. The game got one big update and after that noting happened. Now the game went free to play and well the people that paid for the game to support the mess didn't even get anything in return. What a joke. Let's not even get into the fact that a bunch of the older stuff that was in the game got removed.

One of the worst game I have ever played. I really had a good feeling about this game but, its super clonkey. The game feels so bad, the passing and shooting, the analog stick just dose not aim the way you point it. The commentary gets pretty annoying very quickly. Lets just say this game feels like a 2005's football game. Yes the game looks pretty good but still the gameplay is just terrible. The game is noting like the old school f2p football game for example like Fifa World and such. At the end of the day it is a free to play game but it's just terrible Im sorry. It's not worth the download.
