Black - achromatic color, "the color of no color": it absorbs absolutely all colors, not releasing them to the outside world. Black color is paradoxical: it is associated with infinity, with silence, with female vitality, it evokes a sense of mystery, security and comfort.


Black, which was made from coal and soot, was the color of night and death, of the afterlife and, at the same time, the color of rebirth, of the fertility of the generous Egyptian soil and the precious Nile silt that brought Egypt annual prosperity.
