Great story, good enough gameplay, very f2p friendly. The production values in the main story are insane for a free game. What's not to love?

Every single negative reviewer is illiterate or is playing on a potato drawing internet from their neighbor through barbed wire.

Getting back-stabbed and betrayed has never felt this good before. The theme of this game is fantastic! The way diplomacy is handled is the most engaging I have seen in similar games. Super fun with randoms on the internet, friends, or people from the game discord.

More akin to playing Twilight Imperium (or similar) than a proper 4X game, but that's a plus as far as I'm concerned. You can play a game in a single sitting of 3-4 hours, or play over multiple days with the turn timer being 24h or more. Throughout the game you have a very limited amount of things you can do during a turn, almost everything costs you one of your "order" slots, of which you start with 2(generally) and can get up to 6. This means every decision is important, and it really feels that way.

The production values are quite good, nothing too extraordinary, but the sound design is on point, and the visuals fit in very well with the setting.

There are some balance issues once you try most things and figure out what is good, but the game is still very enjoyable, and the devs are actively listening to the community and working on the biggest issues.

Now I just need to brainwash more of my friends into picking this up so we can have enough to fill a lobby.

While I think the comparison with The Witness is not quite correct, this is still one of the best logic puzzles in recent memory. Every time I felt I had figured it all out, there was something new to discover, as well as inventive new ways to use the things I already knew. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for anyone that likes this genre, with surprising depth of gameplay.

It's the Monster Hunter of Dark Souls. 11/10, would buy a 3DS to play the older ones if i wasn't so poor.
