The game is a masterpiece indeed but it feels arcadey in some aspects. The flight modelling of the default airplanes is not that good and lacks a lot of stuff (although I am not an actual pilot but there are stuff wrong in the msfs flight modelling and even the FAA agrees with it lol) the base principal of the flight model is same as Xplane 11 (The Blade element theory) and I hope that third party developers like PMDG can greatly take advantage of it. Scenary wise it's a big jump from the other sims but there are some areas that requires fixing (Which will come as World Updates) like I flew to my house in MSFS in India and it was completely unrecognisable. I flew to my school and the whole area was a big patch of grass lmao and all this require fixes and I guess it will be fixed with a World Update focused on India only and same with other countries too. There are some places where the buildings are glitched out. Like in Lukla airport. I found that there are floating buildings 5000 feet above the airport. The default air traffic is a mess rn some planes spawn upside down doing like a sick break dance and some planes just stand still in the taxiway creating a big traffic jam and it's just a mess rn. The weather engine is definately great I love how the clouds form and you can see the rain showers from a distance. The real time weather works but it breaks sometimes. The sim is beautifully optimised and I can run the sim on high end setting and I can maintain 30 fps (Specs :- i5 9400f, 16 gb ram, GTX 1660 non ti) with high traffic and in big cities like Paris and London too. I love the icing and the freezing effects and the sounds are really good imo. The sim is primarily suitable for VFR flying but you can do IFR flights with the free FlyByWire A32x add-on (also there's Fenix A320 coming which is more detailed) and I hope that it will change when the PMDG 737 comes out and when other third party developers will create add-ons for the sim. Overall I rate the sim 7/10.
