I have never really been too fond of the Point-N-Click Genre, but when i bought this in a steam sale i was blown away. The main catch of the game is that you are Lee Everett a convicted murderer on his way to prison but shenanigans happen and you end up in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

The rest of the game has you solving ''puzzles'' (using the term loosely since most of the puzzles are Putt-Putt level). And making choices for you and your survivor group such as: ''Oh no, theres only 4 pieces of food for 10 people who do i give them to and why?'' and: ''Gawrsh! two individuals i just met are under attack by zombies! which one do i attempt to save first?''

Its choices like that that have you wondering throughout the episode wheter you did the right thing or not, but more on that later. The dialog and bonding with the other survivors feels suprisingly good. All the characters are packed with intense, deep and sometimes even funny dialog.

The game consists of 5 episodes which arn't very big and took me 2 - 3 hours to complete per episode. A cool addition thing is that the stats are tracked and displayed at the end of each episode so you can see what everything else did.The Walking Dead world is filled with a lot of clues, backstory and information about how other survivors perished and other humans adapted to their new threat.

But all this praising? isn't there anything bad to say about this game? Sadly yes, a lot of characters have random moodswings and sometimes the conclusion of a choice you made feel weird, for instance. Theres a survivor which you meet at the beginning of the game and being my first pal and all i helped and supported him as much as i could through episode 1, but when i got to the end of episode 2 and disagreed with him about smashing an innocent persons brain in i got constantly berated by him about how i ''Never have his back!'' and that kinda spoiled the feeling of the game for me.

In conclusion, whether you've read the comics or watched the show doesn't matter (some characters make cameos but its not much.) If you fully want to explore everything the game takes about 12 - 14 hours to beat and i'd say it's well worth buying if you're a fan of zombie games (keep in mind that this isn't a gun-toting game but rather an emotional rollercoaster.) or the Point-N-Click genre in general.

Make sure you have a sturdy ''Q'' key though.
