This game is incredible. It's been years since I got sucked into a game as much as this one has sucked me in. This game is so fun, has such an an excellent gameplay loop, that I actually threw more money at it by buying the soundtrack and DLC.

You can feel the effort put into every aspect of the game's design, making it into something incredible to party up with friends late at night, or solo with a reasonably effective robot companion.

Years ago, when I was a small child, over the course of a few years I put in a few hundred hours on my absolute favorite game at the time, and have generally not come close to cracking 100 hours in most games since then. Today, having really got into this just this past month, I have already put in 83 hours and easily expect to break 100 before January is out.

If you have friends you enjoy playing online games with, you should all grab this and play together.

The base game is easily worth its regular asking price, and you should absolutely pick it up if it's on any sort of sale.
