With an absolutely gorgeous art style and sound design, Hades has not only accomplished what it set out to be, it being a difficult, story driven roguelike, but it redefined what a good roguelike is to begin with!

The combat, no matter which path you pick, is absolutely pristine with each fight perfectly connecting to the next with flashy and responsive controls that leave you with these small bursts of enjoyment. It's something to get hooked on!
