Highly recommend this.
I haven't played much before 1.0, but ever since then I've been playing it a ton, and I don't regret it whatsoever. Grab a friend and explore the galaxy, settle down somewhere and build a house, or a lab.
A great tool for building and digging, along with an interesting tech system and fun combat make this a great title.
