Only 11 hours in but it feels like a game I could easily get lost in. As a mostly solo player in every game, this one is a gem. If you want to grab a couple weapons, leave your house, and go off in one direction and adventure for two hours, you will never run out of buildings and locations of interest to explore.

Crafting is very simple however extremely satisfying and easy to learn for those new to survival crafting games. For an early access title, I don't think I wasted a cent and I'm definitely looking forward to what this game has in store next.

Edit: So after 67 hours in game which is absolutely trivial compared to how much I could have played this had it not been for time restrictions and children and life and such. That being said, I am still playing single player only, have never joined a server or played with another person at all. And STILL LOVING IT. All those who are giving a negative just because they are playing single player should not be listened to. Enshrouded is amazing in single player as I'm sure it is in co-op. The building is only getting better, the decorations and build pieces are only getting better, performance is getting better, and yes the world is empty a lot....if you are staying in one place and never exploring. I have made a couple new characters just to start over for fun and am STILL finding things I missed last time I played. 10/10

On average getting about 70-80 fps on medium-high settings, playing on a 3440X1440 monitor connected to a laptop.

Honestly wanted to love it but seriously? Years of "development" and this is what we got? I agree with every single other person who has said that BG3 and Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty are ten times more fun and immersive. After the first 20 hours, every mission is a rewash of the last mission. Even No Man's Sky puts this to shame in the storyline department, and for sure blows it away in the space exploration department. Really upset that I pre-ordered and paid this much for a game that I probably won't even try to mod.

Go play modded Skyrim or No Man's Sky
