I've enjoyed the game for the most part, but my experience has been seriously marred by audio and input issues. My keypresses get stuck from time to time, and the sound will crackle whenever I use any USB audio devices. I have tried with both several keyboards and audio outputs, and it happens with all of them. This doesn't happen with other games so I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue.

I'll leave a proper review once these issues have been fixed.

Dark Souls III is one of my favorite games EVER. I know it inside out. I've spent more than 300 hours playing it.

However, I can't give it a good review when the base game costs full launch price after nearly 9 years! Get over yourselves, FromSoft, you're not Nintendo.

Also, the fandom is salty and toxic as ♥♥♥♥ lol

For 5 bucks, this is amazing value. I really wish the game had more content - more mechanics, more levels. I really wanted more of it. Again, for 5 bucks it's hard to complain though.

This is the number-go-up-iest game ever made. It’s genuinely very fun, totally worth it for five bucks.

OK, I just finished playing both games and I feel like I can recommend this... with a warning. I want to clarify, before getting into my criticisms... you don't play these games for the gameplay. They weren't that fun to play even when they came out. What you're here for is world-building, lore and zany time travel conspiracies with vampires. These games still excel at that.

The "remastered" part of the title is merely talking about a fresh coat of paint. Better models and better textures (both can be toggled on and off), working on modern systems. The games themselves, in terms of mechanics and gameplay, remain completely unchanged.

That's good, in terms of conservationism. But that's bad in terms of entertainment.

Soul Reaver 1 feels extremely dated, with its simple puzzle mechanics and combat. All the bosses are embarrassingly easy. The world feels tiny, even though it's supposed to depict an area that's at least the size of a big city. That's it. There's realy not that much to this game. It's too short. That being said, I absolutely LOVE the extra content: fan art, concept art, the lore guide, and especially the cut content. The people who made this really love the franchise.

Soul Reaver 2 feels somewhat less dated, but still so. The platforming is decent, but the camera likes to do weird stuff... especially underwater. The combat feels like it's going the right way, but it falls short. Dodging could be a bit easier and more lenient (I'm not even sure it has i-frames at all) and enemies are more than eager to stick to constant pokes with no room to breathe. It's OK in single combat, but more often than not enemies will gang up on you and just not let go. It's just not fun. Pro-tip: run around swinging the Reaver to wake it up, then one-hit as many enemies as you can. If you run low on health or the Reaver wakes up, just switch to the Spirit Realm to heal and try again.

It took some time, but I think I can recommend CP2077 now. That being said, the DLC adds a ton of content and the new quests and endings are pretty good. I think it's almost a requirement, the stock experience is still a bit lacking.

It's still a bit buggy at times, but nothing's utterly broken.

It's a fun game, though it's very unbalanced - at least in normal mode. It took a little while to beat, but as you progress you get so overpowered that the final boss becomes a joke.

What a fantastic game. It's fun, charming and challenging without being too difficult. Except for maybe the secret ending puzzles, which I had to get help for. I think I just missed a few hints in the environment, though.

Highly recommended, I should have played this right after it came out.

Absolutely fantastic game. Very smooth to play, very fun and challenging levels. I have to admit, I had to watch videos to get some of the shortcuts and secrets - it can be a little tricky at times.

Considering I've spent 25 hours in this game in no more than a week... yes, I like this game and I'd recommend it.

Don't expect it to be different to the original, they're very similar - although I think I like this game better. I'm kinda surprised at the reviews that say "I didn't like Psychonauts 1... and I don't like this game". Why are you playing this game then?
