--Graphics--
The graphics in this game are not bad. I'd expect it to look good especially on the unreal engine. I've not had any proper FPS issues, as of yet, that being said, there are FPS issues but only when the game is loading assets and whatnot.
--Audio--
The Audio in this game is pretty good, I've not had any issues with the Audio, at all. I've heard other people have but I've not.
--Community--
The Community in this game is pretty okay, in the short term. If you only play now and then you may not notice anything bad, however, if you play the game a lot then you will notice a lot of salty and angry players, not only that but you will find people who enjoy trolling their team.
--Bugs--
There are quite a few to choose from. My friend has an issue where he experiences random FPS drops and audio glitches, however, I have yet to experience this issue, which leads me to believe it's a problem with his client/setup. There are bugs that allow you to get out of a lot of the maps, however, these are usually in areas that give no advantage. There are smaller bugs like being able to ride a shield like a skateboard, however, I classify this as a funny bug, it'll probably get fixed soon anyway.
--Story--
There is, as of writing this review, no story or campaign in the game.
--Singleplayer--
There is singleplayer, but it's for local play against bots. As mentioned above, there is no singleplayer campaign, as of yet.
--Multiplayer--
The multiplayer in this game is something that I really REALLY want to love and I do, in a limited way, a lot of the multiplayer experience can be ruined by the people who play the game, often, you will kill a player only for them to roast you in the chat claiming that you cheat or just straight-up insulting you, that being said, those sorts of things are not limited to just Mordhau, however, in a multiplayer-only game these things are more serious, you will get a lot of teamkilling, some purposefully and some accidental, it happens. You should know when getting this game that you need to be good or lucky and willing to ignore toxic players.
--Gameplay--
The gameplay in this game is, for the most part, smooth. The attacking is smooth and the movement goes well with it, on flat surfaces. The movement is a pain in the backside when you want to climb or vault something as the game does not always correctly vault you or even bother to. There are a lot of stuck spots as well in the various maps, however, these tend to get fixed when they get reported. There is dragging in this game which means the attacks can often look janky, however, they are working as intended, most of the time. There are still situations where weapons seem to extend mid-air but I think this is mostly psychological. I, personally, love the combat, though, when you kill me I may say otherwise.
--Modding--
There is modding in the game, however, it's not officially supported in an easy way, what I mean is that there is no workshop support, yet. You can install mods and find out how in various youtube tutorials or by searching for mods and following the instructions, however, there is no super simple way to install and uninstall them.
--Conclusion--
Mordhau is a very good medieval combat game, it allows you to have these massive battles on an epic scale, you can fight with or against your friends. I recommend this game if you are good at holding back anger. This game, as good as it is, is full of very VERY good players that will beat you every single time because they've played longer and have more experience, however, do not let that put you off, you can learn and in time could become one of those pros. This is a brilliant medieval fighting game but I feel like you should know that this game will make you rage like nothing you've ever seen. It'll make you want to smash holes in walls but it also makes you want to cheer when you get that very satisfying killstreak or 1v4 win. I implore you to give this game a try and if you don't want to then at least check back later to see if it's more to your liking then.
