Mad children on the internet wanted Star Citizen but got A Bethesda Game In Space and are mad about it. Buy and enjoy this game just to watch emotionally and mentally stunted adults have full-blown meltdowns.

Drama aside the game is super fun and solid. It's an exploration game at heart, it was never going to be popular with the brainrotted masses that have become the wider gaming audience. It's got a lot to say about fate, the universe, existance, and how we all affect each other. The game is fantastic and will 110% be the next victim of the Cyberpunk 2077 effect, where the game is always amazing and people only start acknowledging it years after it's release.

I had never been BROKEN by a game until I picked up this one. I had played the original Emily is Away years ago upon its release but forgot about it shortly after. Now, years later, I picked up the rest of the series.

If you grew up on the internet like many people in this digital age, this game might hit way, way too close to home. It certainly did for me. But I don't think I will ever stop revisiting this game. The smallest bits of nostalgic personality, from your chosen partner sending you their playlists to them losing all interest in you as life changes and grows, smash together and scream in your face like a 6-year-old with a PVC pipe.

I don't think any game will affect me like this one did. Something about sitting in a heartbroken state while the opening lines of Someone Great by LCD Soundsystem begin to play will forever sit in my mind. Pick up this game and then don't ever tell anyone how deeply it affected you, you WILL feel ashamed.

Few mediums or settings encapsulate all that is the curse of the vampire as much as the World of Darkness and the Vampire: The Masquerade franchise. Years ago, Bloodlines was my introduction to the series, and it's something every lover of the dark and creepy should play at least once. It captures the curse, gifts, and secrecy of a life in the shadows and slaps a beautiful layer of dark comedy on top. Add on to it a little bit of the zest of eroticism, and VTM - Bloodlines is the perfect modern-gothic vampire story that will keep anyone bursting at the seams for the sequel to release.

The Metal Gear Solid series has always been a grim & accurate, albeit exaggerated, criticism and look at war and it's futility and damages. Of course, it's a far more complex series than just that, but this entry in the series is perhaps the single best example of that; competing directly with the fabled and beloved MGS3: Snake Eater.

Slight Spoilers Ahead, Nothing Game Ruining.

The Phantom Pain depicts the adventures of Venom Snake as he wages a false war against an arm of a secretive illuminati-esque government that Snake himself unknowingly operates under as well. It tells a tale of a soldier who tried to escape the concept of nations, only to be used as a tool and manipulated by the great big enemy of the entire series.

Phantom Pain is a must play for anyone who wants an exciting critique of the world.

Siege is a game that goes through many, many stages of being an exceptionally fun, well-balanced game all the way through being a terrible mess of a shooter. It fluctuates between the two so often that one couldn't be blamed for thinking it was an intentional act on Ubisofts side to consistently save and ruin their game over and over again. As I'm writing this, at 5:36 on the 16th of August 2020, the game is in a pretty good spot and is thoroughly enjoyable.

Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic is by far the best Star Wars title to release ever. Not only did it spark the creation of the Mass Effect series, but it introduced a time that had never before been explored in a galaxy far, far away. This is my ALL-TIME favourite game, more than standing the test of time. If you even vaguely intrigued by Star Wars or its expanded universe, pick this game up.
