There's little to no strategy in the deck-building.

There is little variance in-between the decks as their main effects only happen if you manage to get a blackjack.

The "wacky cards" are almost always aren't helpful as they don't synergy at all with whatever build you expect to run.
Want to run a build about using advantage? NOPE! Here's cards that literally cripple your deck if you use your advantage points.

It feels like later during your runs, you don't actually know how to win with your deck as the strategy of winning changes drastically due to whatever effects your enemies throw at you.

You try to little down your deck and try to get a blackjack with 2 cards? WRONG! The opponent just decided to steal your only winning card. Oh and don't even think about thinning the deck by removing cards, because most of the runs you'd be facing, you never get that opportunity.
