I guess I will never be able to see the parts of the story that everyone finds so disappointing because its been nearly half a year and Deck Nine has yet to update the game to actually function on my laptop. Settings routinely reset on loading screens, trying to render at 4K even though my desktop settings are set at 1920x1080/HD. Despite having an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU 6GB and a 4.5 GHz Core i5 (sitting right between the minimum and recommended specs) I'm lucky to get the game to run more than 15 frames per second with literally all of the lighting/shadow options turned off. Game just runs awful, and I don't think they're ever going to bother to fix it.

Pros: Mechanics feel solid and satisfying and I like the overall art style.

Cons: Even on the default / normal difficulty level the enemies feel really cheap. I played as the sword/shield class type and I felt like half the time I was in battle it was waiting for the climbing or flying enemies to come in range where I could attack them while they pelted me with long distance attacks. Whoever thought a mostly dark cave was a great idea for an opening area was sorely mistaken as I felt like half the time I was doing blind jumps only to land in the middle of a group of enemies or a pit of spikes. If this is what they open with I can only imagine the cheap level design that is to come.
