29 Hours played
Terraria has gone below my radar for far to long for the excellent game it is.

I have played countless hours of Minecraft and was quite excited to try Terraria once I managed to get Terraria on my radar (not that this game is anything like Minecraft).

At first when you start playing Terraria you may get a feeling that there is not much to this game, however, once you get a bit further into the game and the different mechanics start to emerge you get a sense of the immense potential Terraria has.

With my few hours I have played the following is what I liked most of Terraria:

Terraria has a great soundtrack,
Great Boss battles,
Terraria makes exploring exciting,
Immense sense of progress and achievements,
In game events (like Christmas presents dropping from mobs during December holidays),
The ability to have a single character between multiple maps and servers.

There were some things that I found a bit frustrating or annoying:

The game does not really help you out in the beginning and the Guide character I only figured out how to use later in the game.

There can be multiple events one after the other like I had a Bloodmoon event followed by a Goblin invasion followed by another blood moon which was a bit frustrating as I was preparing to log off just before the events started.

With the above said I would recommend this game to those who like cave exploring and base building with a boss battle here and there.
