This game, despite being a little difficult to get the hang of, is good fun. I is a combination between Rouge Legacy, Finaly Fantasy, and Mario (the fact being you can only go forward, never back). The procedurally generated worlds adds to the complexity of the game. If found myself making character sheets of past characters so should i find a weapon that suits them in a run through in which the weapon is useless, i can stick it in the storage and make them the header for the next run. I've also found myself becoming addicted to the worlds i create, wanting to defeat them before I create a new one. To paraphrase, this game is a refreshing bundle of originality, ingenuity, whilst also winking at the games from the Ninetys. In a way, this is a less masochistic 16-bit version of Dark Souls.
