Street Fighter 6 is a return to form for the franchise after the underwhelming experience that SF5 was (sure, it may have become a good game near the end of its cycle but that's not how long it should). It looks great, plays amazingly, has cool music, and has nearly perfect net-code. I felt addicted to the gameplay because no matter how many fights you win or lose, it just never gets stale. There is a lot to learn and lot to do.

The game does not have a Story Mode like SF5 (or Tekken/MK), but it has an open-world substitute where you create your own character and experience SF6's story. The story is underwhelming and the ending feels incomplete - but it's a fun mode that requires a lot of grind and patience. And it's a crucial part of unlocking alternate costumes without paying extra money.

I hate the live-service aspect of things, such as the battle pass. There is no defense for that. However, the base roster of the game is very fulfilling and does not feel lacking at all. It's worth the price IMO, even if I grow weary of the season passes, battle passes, in-game shops, paid costumes and so on.
