With soooo many positive reviews, I was expecting a bit more pop in some way.

I'd say around half my playtime is just sitting at the menu when I was eating. I play a lot of games like this, but even if you don't you're gonna burn through it quick. I found ONE unique object in my way to the bottom. Most of it is just generic ores that "increase in rarities", aka they just have different colors. The last obstacle is just as simple as the rest of the game.

TBH, even as a part time project, it feels like it could have used a little more TLC.

There's just not a lot to speak of about in the game, and that's why I wouldn't really recommend it. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I promise you can find better games than this for free.

With such little content, complexity, and a font that looks like it's set to a default(?), grab it only if you have the spare cash and want to support the dev.
