Probably the most flawless game ever released. The campaign is fun all the way through with great character development between Jack Cooper and BT along with some of the most innovative level design in an FPS. The multiplayer gives you an incredible sense of speed and freedom with your movement as well as a solid mech fighter if that's more your speed. When they come together though, there's something special about how they balance each other out. The PvE mode is... also there? Its a great training area for new players and while some people spend all their time there, its not really to my taste.

However, the beauty of Titanfall 2 is in how much room there is to express yourself through the gameplay because it has such a solid foundation. I personally prefer the pilot and pvp gameplay and Titanfall 2 makes it so I don't even have to touch the titans or pve if I don't want to and still have a great time. This is all wrapped in a package of breathtaking visuals and solid sound design. If I had to criticize anything, some of the maps aren't great (looking at you Forward Base Kodai) but there's also gems like Glitch that is so good it has a whole gamemode dedicated to it. There's also a lot of well-executed FPS features that should be standardized like Titanfall's version of clans "networks" and the cosmetic system.

If anything about it looks even mildly interesting, buy it, just don't hop into multiplayer without learning the ropes. I'd pay full price for just the short campaign, so $30 for the full game or $10 on sale is a steal.

Titanfall 3 please
