I should hate this game.
I don't.

It's okay. The stories are fairly well done, the characters you meet are okay. Customizing your base is kinda fun - the underground bunkers you get are kinda nice.

If you can operate for as long as I did without touching Fallout First, good on you ((over 100 hours))

It's surprisingly okay. Buy it on a sale. The community is alright too - I got tool drops day one from a random max level player and did the same when I ran into newbies too.

There is some clear min-max builds, unfortunately, so my attempt at making an all around weapons master died fairly quickly. At most, you'll be able to run two different types of guns and a specific build in question with them for end game content.

It's okay.

I recommend a 60/40 percentage.

My only real big gripe is that the base building is behind a paywall, mostly - and the game is inherently predatory into making you purchase a Fallout First Subscription. Eventually you just hit a wall of what you can do, it takes a decent eighty plus hours if you're good at inventory maxing and sorting, but it WILL happen.

I solo'd most of the game then had a friend join me for some other things. So you can play it either or. I hate that Power Armor is a main build/run too as I always preferred non-power armor runs and there are fewer builds for that than with Power Armor apparently
