After careful consideration, I cannot recommend this game, the publishers are awful!
Great game though

I got to the first "age" and there's a lamp you have to crank to charge repeatedly.

A real treat

Since LSFG 2.0 has released this is actually incredibly useful, turning a 50fps into 100 is a decent trade off with manageable latency, massively improving smoothness.
I use it for TV, Movies and Youtube too. I'm chuffed

I don't think I'm playing against any real people. The paid for product is so much worse than the play test.

Buy this game. These boys have gotta feed their families

Upon reflection, these boys and their families don't need to eat. What they need to do is pull their fingers out and deliver us what they promised which was and I quote:

"Share a sense of discovery with others across the lively open world. Interact and collaborate to solve puzzles alongside friends and other online players or enjoy this tranquil experience as a solo adventure."

I have in online, never once been able to collaborate with another player. This is false advertisement, you are unable to join others on their puzzle solving journey, there is no ability to coach or mentor in this game, you cannot see another person's screen or interactions.

Just turn off reflection to not crash, who knew...
It's a heck of a lot of fun with friends

Having previously been frustrated by time mechanics in games like The Talos Principle I was concerned when going in blind to this game that it might be a slog but it quickly grew on me and became a really fun sequential puzzler.
Voice acting is decent, Aria especially is charming.
I love E's chirps.
The music suited very well and graphically it was genuinely impressive, not just because it was performant on my relatively old hardware (1080ti) but it is gorgeous!

I can't recommend this enough to any fellow puzzle enjoyer.

pleasant nonsense

Thoroughly impressed by the puzzles, some thoughtful bits of philosophy and I appreciate the overall shift in mood (much more positive) as a result of having some really varied and exceptional voice acting along with the fact you're working together as opposed to alone in a prison.
I cannot recommend this enough if you're into puzzle games!
