About Me:
Hi, I’m 17 and from Poland. I used to be a competitive FPS gamer in titles like CS:GO and Valorant, but over time, I realized I enjoy gaming more when I play what truly resonates with me. Now, I focus on visual novels and survival games like ARK: Survival Evolved or 7 Days to Die. These games let me explore deep, immersive stories or challenge my creativity and problem-solving skills in tough environments.

I’m a romantic at heart and love games or anime where the main character experiences genuine, meaningful love—something pure and timeless, unlike what’s often portrayed today. It’s this focus on deeper connections that draws me to stories with emotional depth and character growth, both in games and anime like Your Lie in April or Clannad.

I’m also inspired by stoicism, a philosophy that teaches finding strength in self-control, accepting what you can’t change, and focusing on what truly matters. I try to bring this mindset into my life and gaming, appreciating challenges as opportunities for growth and focusing on enjoying the moment.

My history of Stoicism
For much of my life, I struggled with depression—a constant weight that made even the simplest things feel overwhelming. When I met her, my girlfriend at the time, she tried to help me find some sense of normalcy. She became someone I leaned on during those dark moments, offering support when I felt like I couldn’t do it on my own. But in the end, she betrayed me, cheating on me when I was at my most vulnerable. That betrayal didn’t just break my heart—it felt like it shattered the fragile progress I had made.

At my lowest, it felt like everything I had been trying to rebuild came crashing down. I was consumed by questions: Why wasn’t I enough? Why did she give up on me when I was fighting so hard? The pain wasn’t just from her actions, but from how they confirmed every doubt my depression had whispered to me. It felt like proof that I was unworthy of love or stability.

But Stoicism taught me to see things differently. It reminded me that while I couldn’t control what she did or how she treated me, I could control how I responded. Depression often makes you feel powerless, but Stoicism helped me reclaim that power by focusing on the choices I could still make. I couldn’t undo the betrayal, but I could choose to stop letting it define my worth.

Accepting what happened wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. Stoicism doesn’t teach you to ignore your emotions or pretend you’re fine. Instead, it helps you face the truth with courage. I started to see that her betrayal wasn’t a reflection of me, but of her own choices.
