Then you will love this game.
Stock game has hundreds of hours of gameplay, DLCs add many more, and mods will send you down a rabbit hole you will loose many hours off your life to.

THIS IS A EARLY ACCESS GAME, there is enough here to test out and have some fun with but you are not getting a finished product. Too many early access are so incomplete that it is unplayable. This is not one of those you are given what the devs said you are getting.
Is it the best in terms of gun play? No
Is it the best looking? No
Does it have the best AI? No
Do i see a TON of potential with this? YES

With the amount of mod support and how much the devs interact with their community i could see this taking down quite a few shooters. This is probably the reason why so many people are giving bad review. Nobody wants to see the game they have dedicated so much of their time into getting beat by a free to play.
Why people see a free game being able to clean up their library as a bad thing is confusing to me.
Expecting a polished day 1 early access game is like asking EA to not not put micro transactions in every game they make.

Overall, great early access game and i hope in the future this beats the big companies.

If you are looking for a storyline that makes sense then i have no idea why you would even be looking at a borderlands game.
If you are looking for explosions and guns then you have come to the right place.

But for real they improved pretty much everything that borderlands 2.

-Gun brands actally feel like brands now
-Alt abilities on guns
-More skills to mix and match
-Running and talking guns
-LOOT
-Dad jokes

For day 1 of an early access game it is great. Most games are skeletons of what they game will become but this has basically everything is in the game even if some things do need polish they are there. I only experienced a crash 1 time and from a mission that i didn't really have an interest in anyways 'Poacher hunt'.
I can't wait to see what happens as they update the game and open up the workshop to modders.

I was promised a better S.T.A.L.K.E.R instead i got a mess of a game that doesn't really do anything right, from the gunplay to the stealth it is all pretty lacking.

Well didn't think i was going to have to do this but here i am.
I can't recommend this game which pains me to say since i real enjoyed DOOM 2016.

After seeing these numbers you probably wonder why i don't recommend well here is why.
When buying this game i was expecting the game to follow the DOOM 2016 meta of go here kill things, punch this, punch that. Instead i was met by puzzle sim 2020, where the enemies are harder to kill, you don't get the 1 gun that had infinite ammo and your melee doesn't do anything to the "weak" demons. I wanted to like the game the visuals were great, sound track bomb and some systems were made better but overall i have dreaded trying to play through the campaign. Puzzle after puzzle, fight after fight that you didn't have ammo for and just when you started finishing fights with ammo to spare they throw a new bullet spongy demon at you. If things get patched or some worth while DLC come out i would like to give it another try but this was not worth my $60. Before i hear the whole "just play it longer it gets better" that isn't the kind of thing i wana hear about any game let alone a full price AAA title. If you have to dread your way through the first +5 hours of the game there is an issue.

Edit: I would like to add that i found slayer gates enjoyable since the point of them are to be challenging but when encounters in the mission start feeling like slayer gates i started to question the point of them. Buy this game on sale don't pay full price.

Great ending to the Exodus story.
I would have like to seen some things changed like adding to a couple parts of the map that seems lacking, maybe another gun and getting rid of the "boss fights" when you play it you will know exactly what i am talking about.
Overall though the story was great, characters were interesting, and visuals were amazing.

4A Games please drop your horrible backstabbing publisher so i can get your next game as i will never go to Epic.

After trying to come back to this game several times i have to finally not recommend it. The updates are slow, community is dead and there are other games on Steam or being made that do the same thing but better.

You will spend 90% of the time dead from either a tank half way across the map, artillery, or just simply being shot in the back as there are 0 restrictions on where spawn points can be placed and how fast they can be put down. Great concept and WAS competition for other games out there but it has fallen very short.

Great game that still feels like a Metro game even with the semi-open world. From the story & environment to the gunplay it is all still Metro they know what works and have stuck with it. The difficulty settings scale nicely allowing you to play how you want which is nice compared to many games where the scale is easy-Hard-You won't live.

Yet another game with a bunch of interesting things going for it like the turn based paused time strategy and the visuals but the campaign which is the main reason to even get a game like this is horrible. I know it is supposed to be a challenge but every time you get a "better" ship so does the enemy however the "better" ship you just got was to match what you were already facing not what you will be facing now. After hours of having to abandon about 90% of the planets because you have 0 help defending them which is dumb considering you bring one of the most powerful ships in the game to one of the planets within the first 30 mins. If you get this game be prepared to sit around 1 planet and smash the next button until you have enough money to do anything or a "side" mission pops up which aren't optional early game as you need them to upgrade.
For every good experience i had in this game i had 5 horrible ones to include repetitive gameplay, very little customization, some of the worst balancing i have seen and a story that makes you just think "why the ♥♥♥♥ am i the only one doing anything." (worse than i have seen in any other game)
If they actually add more ships which aren't crap or even add a way to change the loadouts on the ships this game would be playable but as is it is not.
