The biggest issue was getting a Ps4 controller to work (Launch the EAApp through Steam, then Burnout through the EAApp to fix that), and has only crashed once in ~35hrs. Plays and feels exactly how it use to back on Ps3 release. Decent enough game if it's on sale.

After 65hrs in the beta, and 5hrs in the release there were a lot of changes and not all of them feel good.

The changes to the goals, not just being open on round start; good, feels good, plays good.
No more instant goals is pretty great, the 3 goal set, 3 sets to win is much better than the back and forth 25 minute nightmare games of the past (as fun as those could occasionally be).

The changes to the trainings being mid-match rng option, performance pick order; bad, feels bad, plays bad.
Some strikers really need specific ones to feel playable, and without them because they didn't show up, or someone got a higher pick order and took it really ruins the experience even in casual play. And now you need to remember a dozen different ranges per ability because of the variability of trainings match to match.

Competitive feels even worse when your teammates leave now, because of moving to a multi-set match design and having the game slowed down.

I think there absolutely needs to be a mode where you get to pre-pick your trainings independently similar to the beta era.

It's alright if you've got people to play with, but if you're playing on your own I don't recommend it.

After ~100hrs, this game was a lot more fun than I expected going into it, especially for a free game. It's like a medium core Tarkov, you gotta collect the garbage to make/earn/buy better gear, to collect more important garbage to make/earn/buy even better gear. A handful of the quests are absolutely miserable bordering on unfinishable because of parkour puzzles or terminator AI. The monetization isn't predatory or overwhelming, similar to Path of Exile it's mainly some light QoL stuff like extra stash space (with premium time), cosmetics, or some mediocre/alternative weapons (from event boxes). Unfortunately there's some developmental differences between RU/EU/NA servers, resulting in gear you might not be able to acquire being shown to you in the weapon modification screen (things like magazines, handguards, stocks); However it does look like they're working to sort this out.

Overall it runs decently, the controls feel decent, most of the quests and gameplay loops are decent and it's free.

My fisherdwarf threw a giant badger at a tree so hard it's teeth shotgunned out, across a moat and injured the incoming trade caravan. This is absolutely peak gaming.

It's alright, has the potential to surpass the original Prophunt with enough effort.

Game is currently in a terrible state, I was expecting something even a little different from the CoD style of Sprint & Spray but that is exactly how this game is, there's no map or server selection so often you just get thrown into games in progress with people from all over, with pings all over the place. You can't change sights in game, so if you queue up with a medium to long range scope and get put on a very small CQC map, or even worse a FFA CQC map you're just screwed. Lots of basic game mechanics don't work right either, end of the match score board has changed the amount of kills/deaths on me nearly every match sometimes for the better sometimes for the worse. EXP system will tell you you've leveled up with a weapon and unlocked a mod for it at the end of the match only to not have unlocked or leveled up anything when you go to put it on. Over all this game is really disappointing and needs a lot of work. And that's not even mentioning joining into a game where you're getting spawn camped or 30 seconds before it ends in a loss.

Edit; Apparently there is a map/mode selection, but it's very unintuitive to any new players.

Runs horribly. Constantly losing connection to any match. Everything about this game is just awful. All they had to do was look back at the older CoD's and go "What made those good? Lets do that." But instead they looked back and are now doing the exact opposite of what made the older CoD's good. CoD line should have died around the WaW, MW2 era.

Even though I meet minimum specs, the game runs like a quadraplegic.
Those .5hrs I have on record are from fiddling settings in a desperate hope to get more than 1fps.
Literally 1 fps.
This game is in dire need of some sort of optimization; At least a little bit.
Until that time I can't realistically recommend this game.
****Edits/Additions****
After a month, and now around 65 hours it's time for an updated review.
Vehicle physics, very not good.
Optimization, They tried; Definetly needs more.
The hotfixes seem to break more than they fix, requiring more hotfixes.
My game runs slightly smoother, due to their attempts at optimization and my new GPU (7770HD 1GB to an Rx 560 4GB)

So far, everything that's changed has been changed for the better, yes even those microtransactions every other review is freaking out over; the proceeds from it are being used to fund a tournament as well as a donation to charity. And the best part is, they're optional, all you get is clothing, so if you don't want to spend more money, you don't have to spend more money.
