Gmod was the first game I ever owned on Steam back in 2015, and I have no regrets. Originally starting as a Half-Life 2 mod, Garry's Mod has turned into something much more; A unique stand-alone franken-game of a sandbox using almost every source asset available. This sandbox offers almost too much to do. While spawning anything you want instantly is a given, there are countless other options available in Gmod. Gamemodes of many, including various kinds of PvP, PvE, Multiplayer, Co-Op, Solo, you name it, and it probably exists in here. Creativity? It's here. Killing stuff? Gotcha covered. Chillin'? There's a jacket if it gets too chilly for ya. Plus, Garry's Mod has full Steam Workshop support, so spend a bit of time there and find some skins, weapons, tools, Whatever you might like, you can probably find it! If your feeling super creative even, you can make your own mods to add to the giant collection that already is!
I've spent sooo much time in Gmod so far, and still enjoy it to this day- I'm sure lots of other people ill, and still do too.
If you like building stuff yourself, gaming with friends, whatever... Definitely pick up Garry's Mod when you get the chance. I mean, c'mon, its only 10$, can probably find that in the laundry.
