UPDATE Finished campaign, what a masterful narrative, 10/10 game of the year, game of my life.

I got to 10 hours of playtime on day one. I have gotten probably less than 10% into the story, and I have enjoyed every moment.

As a KCD player from before, this game fulfills all of what I liked from the first, and improves on it.

The environments? Beautiful, historical, vast.

The action? Quick, brutal, and difficult.

The vibes? A perfect blend of humor and seriousness, which you can expect to be just as good as KCD.

And need I mention the game runs at >100 fps ON LAUNCH on FULL ULTRA (yes, I have a good pc, not great but good, and only 1080p, but still unheard of these days)

Also the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ IMMACULATE performances, these actors are doing a better job than 90% of actors paid millions to show up to say 1 liners. SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION!!!

Yes, the game has one or two more of the *tedious* aspects of the original game so far, but they’re less negatives and more neutral. They also serve to get you moving from place to place, which is full of varied and fun encounters.

From ONLY ONE DAY PLAYING this game exceeds all my expectations. 9/10, I’ll give it a 10/10 once I’m done if the story writing remains peak.

+ Anyone put off by the anime aesthetics, as a fellow non-weeb, its not intrusive at all.
+ The Devs are active and constantly adding to the game and balancing.
+ The Music is an easy 10/10 literally listen to it outside of the game too.
+ Character design is clean, as is game design. Easy to see what is happening.
+ The rush of dominating with a combo is unmatched.
+ Easy to pick up, hard to master.
+ Free customization and skins, good leveling awards.
+ Potential for a GREAT e-sport

- No quick comms for solo players, and no in game chat either, which can make non-stacks hard to coordinate with.
- Only 3 player, could do with some higher player count modes imho.

Overall a 9/10, but its free, so a 10/10!
Please give this game a try, its incredibly fun and only going to get better.

Good game, has a ways to go yet but the foundations are excellent.

The best story, insane graphics, and a good boi for a horse. What more could you wish for?
