DRG:S has been given a lot of love by Funday Games, and they've been busting their butts working on adding more and more to the game as they develop it. For $10 it's a pretty good deal, and it's a lot of fun for a single stick survivor game.

Steam paid me 25 virtual steam monies for this review, can you believe it?

The game itself was fun, and I enjoyed it even if a lot of it comes down to luck, but recently I came back to try and play a couple rounds with a friend, only to find they now require me to have an epic games store account in order to play a game that had never required it before, as well as a new requirement to have the epic overlay installed.

I got this game through steam, and this was not a requirement at any point in the past. I have no desire to sign up for an account with those clowns, so I guess this is the end of playing this game for me. Unfortunately it's too late for me to refund it, but hopefully the info is useful to whoever reads this review later on.

I booted this game up in a state of complete apathy in an attempt to preoccupy myself from a mood where nothing seemed appealing, and ended up spending almost 9 hours on my first time ever playing this game having fun?

The level design isn't the greatest, as it all tends to blur together in each zone, but I'll be damned if I didn't find myself exploring every nook and cranny I could in an attempt to find whatever loot I could get my grubby little hands on, while smashing every pot and crate I could see like some green clad wierdo on a quest to save a princess.

Combat is't bad, blasting your enemies in the face with hot lead or rolling through their attacks to gut them like a fish is satisfying, although the complete lack of either a blocking or parrying option (at least none that I've found in the ~9 hours I've spent so far) is something I found disheartening.

I've really enjoyed finding the journals and other bits of lore spread throughout the game, it's been enjoyable piecing everything together so far.

You may not want to buy the game at full price, but on sale I'd definitely say it's worth a shot.

Disclaimer: I've only been playing this in solo mode offline, I can't vouch for how the online gameplay is.

As much as it pains me to say it, I was not pleased with Little Nightmares 2. I had a great deal of fun playing through most of the game, it's visually impressive and the creatures are very well made, but the ending was entirely dissatisfying.

It feels like the writers wrote themselves into a corner, and tapped out.

Is the game bad? Not by any means, but that ending ruins the entire experience.

Slap city still needs quite a bit of polish before it can fully be worth the asking price of $20, and I would not recommend buying it unless it is on sale.

That being said though, the game itself is a lot of fun and if you can grab it at a discounted price it is definitely worth a shot.

Be sure you have some friends to play it with though, because the online multiplayer is almost nonexistent, which is a shame. You may have better luck finding matches if you join their discord, but the in game server list is often empty from what I've seen.

Finally a good game that isn't going Epic exclusive.

The game is an ultra simplistic, one button high score chaser.
Your goal is to simply pass a ball vertically back and forth between two points, without colliding with objects that come in from the left and right.
The music is good, the game is polished and enjoyable, and it only costs $1 (Although I found it on sale for 49 cents)

Well worth the purchase

Like a blessing sent from the platforming gods, this absolute gem of a game came to us.

With tight platforming controls, a ton of nooks and crannies to explore, a dark souls style death system, charm powerups, and hidden lore tidbits strewn about the world, I spent a good 40 hours just searching all over and taking in as much as I could as I progressed.

I did have a couple of times when I died and felt it was unfair, but for the most part, if I died, I knew I had myself to blame.

Pros:
1. Metroidvania style progression
2. Tight platforming That White Palace tho
3. Multiple endings
4. Deepest lore
5. Dlc coming soon
6. IT'S $15

Cons
1. It's a bit of a chore filling in the hunter's journal to completion
2. THEY KEEP BULLYING THOSE ADORABLE GRUBS

tl;dr get the game and have some fun you tightwad.
