Has the makings of a fun spectacle fighter, but is ruined by being a free to play game. Also it's got that weird MMO feeling where it doesn't actually feel like any of your attacks have any weight. It's awful.

Really really good metroidvania.

Simple and functional arcade fighter. Sometimes hard to tell what's going on. Comes with DLC that uncensors it (not safe for West)

The king of indie games, Cave Story doesn't hold your hand. If you do manage to let it make a man of you and finish the game, you'll be upset to know you screwed up all kinds of bad when you heartlessly didn't save Her. Don't Google it, you can figure it out yourself.

It's bad.

It's a fantastic cart racer on par with Mario Kart and DKR.

Protip: Try turning down the announcer's voice.

Visually unimpressive, lacking any unique style.
I turned the voice volume off immediately due to it being unbearable.
Shows off how poorly paced it's going to be by making you fight some dudes the moment you start playing, and then simulate using a compass.
Combat not nearly as deep as Devil May Cry or God of War.

Technically playable/ 10

Roguelike bliss.
