It's been a loooooong time, since I played this game. Oh well, good to be back again. But to be exact, I played Rise of the Clans (Or Meridian 113). But both of those games have exact same gameplay.

Gameplay

So what this game all about? You got venicle with a gun(s), you shoot around bad guys, complete quests, earn money & get more firepower. The weapon variety is fine, not too big, but also not too small. You can also change the part of your venicle to get more space and gun placements to use.

The gameplay sounds simple. Well, maybe not so simple. Since this game launched a very long time ago, there is still couple of glitches, which haven't got fixed. Those glitches usually preventing you from completing the game, so first warning for you - save your game more often with a seperate save file. The other thing you might find annoying is backtracking every time you are completing main storyline.
But you know what enemy is the most vicious enemy in this game? No no no, not the bosses or final bosses. It's the bridges. I am not kidding. Every time you hit the bridge in a high speed, you dead. Hitting obstacles damages you more than just rockets or energy weapons. So here's the second warning - be more accurate with obstacles.
And the last warning - this game gives you choices sometimes, so choose wisely.

Graphics

Nothing really to say about graphics. To that times, when this game got released, I remember it was hard to control in a combat, because computers couldn't handle all particles and effects. But for now, there's always an option to turn everything on high in a settings. Or even better, texture mod (Yes, this game got mods).

Soundtrack

Quite honestly, the soundtrack is one of the best things in this game, which was maded by Anton Popov. Even the main menu theme already want's you to show, how this game is amazing. Some soundtracks fits pretty well to surroundings/situations/encounters. There's a still bug, where you did switch really fast in a menu (or calling it), the music disappears. But that's not big deal, it's still amazing.

Would I recommend this game?

Totally yes. If you like the driving games and shooters, then this game just for you. The storyline isn't that big, it took me 21 hours to finish it, but that's with some glitches and bugs, but I got tons of fun from this game. Give it a try.

I remember, how I preferred this version of the game, instead of vanilla. Missions, epic skins, additional maps for that times was one of the best features, until custom versions arrived in a torrent websites. But there's more. In addition to standard game, there's additional storyline, called "Deleted Scenes". I was looking for this game for ages. This is definetly worth buying, if you want some enhancement in CS 1.6. But basically it's the same game. If you are looking Multiplayer, go for CS 1.6 instead.

Wow, I barely remember this game. Just listing around my own library, and what I see? McPixel.

Yeah, I met this game, when I watch youtube, and it was also on discount. So why not? It's not a really perfect game, but stil you can kill some time here. You just clicking here and hoping, what something happened. And the main objective - save the day. There's no much to judge in this game, since I didn't play this game for 3 years. But if I remember correctly, soundtrack isn't that good, graphics are fine, and it's short. But it's not that expensive, and that's good for a small game.

I bought this game on a steam discounts, at autumn. And it was my first simulator I've ever played.

For the first time, this game doesn't look like something big. It was older versions of surgeries with a small amount of operations. So I played a bit, and forgot about it. But then DLC comes out, I found, what the game got a big overhaul, and since I want to get 100% achievements in a game, I guess I should give it a try, and wasn't dissapointed.

What can I say something else? Well, about some parts, like graphics or stuff. Graphics are good, physical part is fine (but sometimes physics are testing your patience), music is amazing. Something bad about this game? Well, if you are going to achieve 100%, this will gonna test your nerves so badly, because you need to be fast with a bit bad controls. Speaking of controls, you can't play this game for too long, because with default controls, you hand will be tired in 30 mins. I recommend you do some break after some surgeries. Well, I have nothing to say anything more.

I definitelty recommend this game, if you want a simulator, what gives you a challenge. And also, to have a full experience of this game, grab a DLC.

P.S Sorry, if I messed up, somewhere, with English.

I haven't so much memories with Doom. I remember having like "Minigames 200 in 1" disk, what contains a small games in it (well, that's obvious). I saw this game, but controlls were awful (not like the original, surprisingly), and I just forgot about it. 7 years later, I saw a discount on a steam, and I'm glad, what I bought the Classic Complete Pack.

But back in business.

  • Graphics are pretty good, and will never gets old for this legendary game.
  • Soundtrack is outstanding, and that's why you must like Doom. Even though I prefer FMOD soundfont, the OPL soundtrack is not that bad, and there's couple of them, what I like too.
  • Gameplay is simple - you get guns, you USE guns to get to the end.
  • Mod supporting is making this game playable as hell, because people love it, and mod creators is on top! Tons of them to do your own experience. Without GZDoom, I think my fingers will be tired in a 1 hour. And Brutal Doom, well, I don't need to explain you, the name speaks for itself.

If you like to play some old games, it's definitely worth a try.

CS:GO Review
You could really think "Yet another player, who doesn't like CS:GO" and downvote already (Which isn't surprising in our times of steam reviews), I am still gonna write it as tradition of being done with specific game.

What can I say positive about this? Nice touch on a graphics, what aren't that bad (even on a low). Gameplay with some additional stuff added (like weapons) are cool, music isn't that big part, but still very good. A couple of modes, which wasn't official in CS:S, like Gun Game (Arms Race). And that's all I can say about positive sides.

My main problem in this game is where did the fun go? Oh, I know. Because of the skins and ranks, people care less about the game and the fun, where CS:S and CS 1.6 had much more of them. If 2 of those things wouldn't exist, I think this will be a nice game, and I would only recommend this game. Yes, the problem with hackers would exist still, but seeing discussions so much, cheaters got, what they deserved.

Achievements in kinda hard to get, but still doable. The grinding part is the only hard part about getting 100% here. Since I didn't wanna be in this game anymore, I boost myself in workshop maps.

So, if you need only a fun, not disappointment, grab with your friends Counter-Strike: Source. But if you really wanna this game, then I am not gonna stop you.

Finally, I am all set to tell you about this masterpiece.

So, Insurgency is kinda same as CS:GO, but it's not Nice start, right? :D. The main thing, why I love this game is for realism (1-2 hit(s) - your dead). The 2 modes, what exists - PvP & Co-op (Co-op is my way to go in this game), so you can either compete with people, or just relax in Co-op. The graphics are fine, and if you change them even lower for perfomance, not a huge quality loss (except shaders, if you wanna shiny weapons). The soundtrack is kinda not a big part of the game, so I can't say much about it.

From cons, the only thing I should say, the updates with some additional stuff takes so much to wait, but developers still doing that. Fair enough, though.

For achievement hunters, this game will be extremely difficult to do, because it's very time consuming and will depend on luck, and how much time you playing in a day. Even though I got them all "relatively legit", which is easy method to do, but it's still boring to grind 100,000 people in PvP (Had no problem with Co-op, though). And also, achievements, can be buggy.

But regardless of cons, the game is playable. Worth the full price.

Well, since I've done this game for a long time, but always forgot to post a review, well, here we go.

I was introduced to this game from YouTube, and I actually like it. Bought it, when 4 episodes are out. I didn't regret my decision.

A nice graphics touch, reminds me a little of Borderlands 2 days. The soundtrack is good, I liked prologue theme a lot (Some extension of that is somewhere lying around on my PC still). The variation of choices is big in this game, which makes you replay a couple of times. And also, you can see, how people "Served" the justice in Fabletown.

If you are achievement hunter, well, not a big challenge here, so it must be easy to get 100% here.

In conclusion, it's worth to check this game.

I am not gonna say, what this is bad game, but it could be better, though. It feels like, you are doing it for achievements only, not for the game itself. I did only 1 run, you can "Catch them all", if you will constantly save and won't screw in some places. But it's a bit boring, to be honest. But it's also a only a half of this. Maybe it will interesting, if you do episode 2 right after you did this episode.

My advice is grab this game only in discount (and maybe even in a pack, if you want to. It's not worth 8$ (According to SteamDB) for a half of the story.

Throughout 12 years, the game still a legend. I rememver, what for the first time I launched it in 2005 (A year later after release), and it's still remains a real good game, which I enjoyed one more time. Out of simplicity, I would say:

  • Graphics are good
  • Sountracks are good
  • Gameplay is great
  • Simple story

I can't say everything about this game, because I am late for a review, and people already described everything in a details. But the only thing, what I want to say - it's worth it. If you still think about "Get this game or not?", I would definitely say to you - get it. That's all.
