The demo allows you you to play prologue and chapter 1, and then chapter 2 requires the main game. It took me roughly 10 hours to reach chapter 2, so its a very long and generous demo-- give it a try! I was able to manually transfer my save over to full game without a problem.

As for the game itself, I enjoy it. Some cool stuff. I'm not normally a cyberpunk fan but I like the worldbuilding here. It makes you *feel* like the AI, which is nice. They also do a really good job providing a lot of explanations and tooltips. Very helpful.

May expand this as I play farther, as I'm just starting chapter 2 which is supposedly where it really opens up!
