DOOM Eternal? What can I say. Has to be one of my favourite games of this generation.

DOOM 2016 was the first DOOM game in the franchise that I played the whole way through and it introduced me to the series. We all know how good that game was. Take that game and give it 20 pounds of pure crack cocaine and you end up with this game. id Software did an absolutely amazing job on this one within every single aspect of the game.

The game play has majorly improved since DOOM 2016 and added so many new and unique features, like the Flame Belch, Ice Grenade and Dash mechanics. Every second of the game is a high-octane rush of blood, guts, heavy metal and pure unadulterated fun. The story line links almost perfectly onto DOOM 2016 so I would recommend playing that first, but the mechanics of this game should not be given a miss.

Of course, the OST for the game is amazing as always and I love listening to it in my spare time. Especially when brutally ripping and tearing through the demonic hordes of Hell, this soundtrack shines and really immerses you in the game and whatever else you do. A well deserved award has been given to this game purely because of it.

The multiplayer is just as unique as the main campaign, what with it being a 2 Vs 1 Demons Vs Doomslayer mode. It can have it's issues, but when playing with friends is insanely fun. Highly recommend that, when done with the campaign, you should try this out!

Overall, I would say anyone who loves the DOOM series, First Person Shooters or even are new to PC games in general should pick this game up. It is a great way to get accustomed to playing a vast majority of FPS games like COD or Battlefield and the experience really cannot be found anywhere else. And what with the extra 2 DLCs bringing the story and game play to a whole new tier of incredible, I cannot overstate how much I recommend this to everyone out there. id please never stop making games of this quality and please keep updating this for as long as you can.
