I got in final fantasy XIV because all the hype around it this year. I stayed because the story.
The last MMORPG i played was like 10 years ago, so when i started, i was expecting just another generic MMO, without souI, just with the final fantasy brand on it. But oh boy, i was wrong, i found in this ff, just the best ff story of all time. I found one of, if not, the best community in a MMO. I discovery the best soundtrack in any game. And get to know one of the best develeloper team in the gaming industry. Seeing on the live letters, how Yoshida love this game, and how he give it all, for the game, its awesome. I could write for hours, but i have a game to play.
So if you have any doubts. Try yourself, play the trial, now with Heavensward and Stormblood (you can expend easy 250+ hour on it), experience the game for yourself, you wont regret.
