Don't let my hours fool you. I've played for 1,000s outside of Steam and have played for more than 5 years. The game wants you to pay so badly that if you don't, you are punished with up-tiering and bad teammates, but it doesn't happen if you pay for a premium. No one really says anything, but there are a lot of hackers in the game, and in order to be in a top clan, unless you are really good, they require you to hack. You are penalized for progress by repair costs that 3-4 kills can't offset, so if your team is bad, you are screwed. They recently removed spawn protection and it is worse than ever. You'll have people who solely circumnavigate the map to perch on a hill and camp your spawn outside of the detection radius. Some maps you can never convince me aren't made to encourage spawn camping... you can literally sit on a hill across the map and kill players in their spawn.
