I think this is a great fighting game for anyone to jump into! The combo system in the game leads to you being able to put a lot of your own personal flair on how you do combos so that anyone from a beginner to a longtime fighting game player can enjoy just how far you can go in making better and cooler combos! There is honestly just so much room for anyone to jump in have some fun and see all the possibilities on how you can improve. While the character cast may have seem small at first, no one in the cast is exactly alike and even now we are getting more characters added to the mix!

If they intend to play it casually with friends then I think personally that it is fine. Like any fighting game though, your going to need to put lots of hours in to improve, that's the truth with any fighting game though, even games that reduced the skill gap like Street Fighter 5. There will always be people better than you but its your own responsibility to improve.
