I'm sure the game is great, but for me due to how the UI is and how everything almost blends together it's just a hard pass for me to play it by myself without an outside influence tieing me down to the game. Let alone my burnout of sins of a solar empire 1. Graphical improvements look good, Game practically plays the same as the first game and some things look similar. But with my colorblindness and with the UI blending together it makes the game almost inaccessible for me compared to the first game where the UI was fastly more fleshed out and buttons didn't blend together. Plus with the factor of limited random generated games compared to the first game that let you generate a random huge map that had 5 solar systems. This ones only huge map option is 1 star. So you would need to download their map editor to make larger random generations yourself or download a workshop creation that adds it in which to me should of been there by default. I love sins of a solar empire and If i do try the game again soon in the future i might change my reviews rating. But as of right now due to the UI I just cannot tie myself down to try to play it. Though i will attempt to give it more of a try as i bought it. But yeah if i have to mod the game just to make the UI a bit more accessible for me with my colorblindness that won't be enough to change my review.

Conclusion, Graphics do look like an improvement over the first game, wish you can turn off minor factions(though i might just not of seen the setting yet). But yeah overall despite my harsh review on the UI, I do plan to try this game in multiplayer with someone or with my hubby in the future. If improvements come to the UI and if find myself enjoying the game without burnout I will gladly change my entire review.
