I am writing this review on November 15th, 2022, the day before the season 1 update. This will be a mildly long review so if you don't wish to read it all I'm going to give a very simple TDLR now.
TDLR: Game have/had issues? Yes. Game still good? Yes.

Issues/General Information: Now onto the actual review. Let's start with the obvious as almost every single review positive or negative mentions this glaring issue. The game does have a minor crashing issue, however ever since the hotfix where it was stated that they fixed this issue I went from crashing maybe once every two-three hours to roughly once every ten hours if that I even crashed at all for the entire day. Also the game breaking issues like the godmode bug was fixed as well. So all of the issues I had with the game and what a lot of people are talking about seems to have been fixed already, but most people won't change their review and are just reasonably upset. Now I dislike most CoD games after Black Ops 2 and have not really liked the general direction Activision/Treyarch have decided to go since then as the only CoD I thought was actually enjoyable in the past years was Cold War. I only mention this to show that I am not some fanboy who is biased and going to undermine a lot of issues with the game. The only other issues that have been mentioned or that I can think of was that there was no Combat Record/Barracks or Hardcore mode at launch, which is annoying however they will be added tomorrow on November 16th with the coming of Season 01.

Campaign: The campaign is very beautiful in terms of graphics and the character acting done by the voice actors. However, not to spoil anything but the ending was a bit mellow dramatic and seemed to kind of die off in terms of excitement or the beauty that there was in the first starting missions. So I would definitely recommend that you play the campaign but I'd understand if someone said they didn't think it was "all that." With this being said I'd give the campaign a solid 8.5/10.

Co-Op: I'm very excited to have the Co-Op feature back in a CoD game as it was always a beloved feature of mine and very fun to play while relaxing if you aren't in the mood to tryhard in multiplayer lobbies. Activision has also stated they will be adding many more Co-Op missions and will be introducing a "raids" feature which will be 3-man missions where a lot of strategy is involved, so I would say the lifespan and enjoyment of the Co-Op mode will likely last a little while. Also, you can level up the available weapons in the missions and your military rank while playing the missions so that is a very nice bonus or incentive to play Co-Op. In general, I give it a solid 9/10.

Multiplayer: Now I'll start with one big negative about multiplayer but some people may find it as a positive as well. The report system actually works well in this CoD, but they are being very strict on the "toxicity" that CoD is very much so known for. Meaning if you type anything slightly bad in chat or say anything in voice-chat if someone wanted to report you for toxicity you'll get a warning on your account and if you get multiple warning you will get shadow-banned for a day up to two weeks and potentially get banned for real. So it's best to just not say anything at all in-game, even to defend yourself if people call you a cheater. It's pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid and people are still going to be toxic anyways but oh well I guess. Now that aside onto the actual multiplayer topic I'd say that this multiplayer is absolutely fantastic! Almost every gun in the game is good and viable/not OP except for about two or three comparatively weak weapons and every map in the game except for Tarraq is very fun to play on. Activision has also stated they will not be resetting ranks every season like in past CoD's so your progress will still be there even if you stop playing for a few months, which is enjoyable. Also as a Hardcore main player I can't really speak on the TTK for Core but according to a lot of my Core main friends in this CoD it's pretty fast so take that how you will either negatively or positively. So overall I have zero complaints about the multiplayer and think it's got to be the best multiplayer I've ever played since Cold War/Black Ops 2. So I'll give it a solid 9.5/10 as I hate Tarraq with a passion I won't give it a 10/10.

Ending: So I believe the game is definitely worth playing and I hope you enjoy it if you play! See you on the battlefield, friends!
