Easily the best game of 2022, arguably of all time

I've played this for 70 hours and I've only really dabbled with 2 weapons, this game has like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 10+. God there's so much here and they keep updating the game to add more.

Super fun, can be intimidating to get into if you're new to the series but there's tons of guides and and a good community
If you don't like super grindy games where lategame consists of doing the same things over and over again to get chance RNG drops you need for a slight upgrade to your build, maybe this isn't completely for you. I'm not one of those people but the extremely satisfying gameplay (at times tedious, some quality of life changes would be good) and amazing soundtrack and visual design of this game kept me hooked

Getting a direct hit across the map in this game makes you feel like Einstein

Buy it if you have the beefy PC needed for the full experience. One of the best games I've ever played.

-The most visually stunning game I've ever played. Highly recommend installing the 4K resolution pack to have your jaw drop even more at the phenomenal sights. (Make sure you have 150GB of storage to spare though)

-One of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. Yoko Shimomura outdid herself and composed a soundtrack which if composed during the eras of Beethoven, Mozart, Bach; would be held of the same regard as a musical masterpiece. Prepare to cry when you hear the vocals kick in for Somnus.

-Fantastic, fun, quirky, developed, and relatable main cast. The camaraderie between Noctis, Ignis, Prompto, and Gladio here is one of the best parts about this game. No other game will make you want to go on a roadtrip with your friends as much as this one. The relationship developed between these characters is memorable and all 4 of the Backstreet Boys will have a place deep in your heart before you even get halfway through the game. (Ignis especially holds a special place as one of the greatest characters in fiction)

-Simple but effective combat system which rewards good instincts, tactics, and reactions while also being satisfying and relatively engaing with even just two primary buttons to focus on (Attack, Dodge/Parry)

-The story certainly lacks in areas, especially if you haven't watched the CGI prequel film or the anime. However this doesn't stop the game being an enjoyable emotional rollercoaster, you'll be in tears by the end of the game. (and ESPECIALLY by the end of Episode Ignis)

-Windows Edition contains ALL previously released bonus content as well as a huge amount of brand new content which fills in gaps toward the end of the game. Most importantly, you get about 8 hours of bonus story content with the 3 DLC episodes included, each with completely different yet refined styles of gameplay and they fill in what were previously completely unknown chunks of plot in the main story.

10/10.

The full experience is very much worth the 1 and half hours of bland and generic harem visual novel that you have to sit through at first
