A beautifully haunting narrative experience, graphically stunning and artfully done, Hellblade does many things right and doesn't overstay its welcome. Its unique approach to storytelling is what shines, I think, for this title. The mixture of the internal dialogues as you walk through the environment and the psychological conflict that Senua goes through is masterfully done. Having said that, the narrative and some of the puzzles get a bit tedious at times. Overall loved this game and would recommend a playthrough. 8.5/10

Having said that:
- Amazing opening
- Love the sound track in the short time I played
- Beginning is super heavy on cutscenes but they are well done with descent voice acting

More in the future :D

An excellent sequel to the Metro 2033, and an improvement in all areas for the most part. The story is a bit convoluted but the atmosphere and music hold it together.
Graphically, the game is very beautiful, with well-done environmental effects and surroundings.
Overall, the combat is good, but sometimes, the FoV makes it hard to follow everything, and you can easily get turned around in close combat. I was impressed with the intelligence of the enemy combatants. They reacted as they should to being fired upon, though in some of the long-range combats, they tended to lose my position easily.
A great game overall and well worth the play through. 8/10

Wow, I loved this one.

The contrast of the beautiful settings and idyllic music with the very very dark themes is woven beautifully. From Sylvan forest to the bloody trolls' den to the halls of the mountain king, it felt like I was immersed in a Nordic fable, and the soothing, calm narration only made it more so.

Be warned, there are a few scenes that play out in this game that are not easy to stomach; I won't spoil the game, but please heed the warning that comes with this title if horror isn't your normal cup of tea. The game is a roller coaster of emotions.

The one negative I have is the combat or, more specifically, the targeting, a minor gripe, but it is rather clunky and was the cause of my failing some of the combat sequences.

TLDR: great graphics, narration, and soundtrack. If you liked Little Nightmares and love Nordic fables, you will love this. But be forewarned that graphic violence might turn off some people.

A Plague Tale: Innocence shows the horrors of a plague-ridden country and the corruption of power in a graphically beautiful narrative.
- The soundtracks fit very well atmospherically with the story, and the story is well-written and fluid; it doesn't get stale or bogged down.
- The game is on the shorter side at 15-20 hours, but that's long enough for it to be played out to its fullest.
- With the game being more narrative focused the combat is not very deep, it serves its purpose and acts more of a puzzle-based combat, if that makes sense; hit point A, fight guard B, otherwise you die. It's almost like a QRT system.
- The characters are interesting but some of the character relationships fall a bit short and come off as a little shallow. FYI Roderick is best...fight me.
All in all a very enjoyable game that makes me excited to play the sequel.

A very unique concept for a cooking simulator :D

- graphically well done
- priced extremely well
- Music is forgettable but not bad
- game play itself is fairly straight forward but like many of these type of games the game play gets stale and repetitive after awhile

Overall for the price a decent game but nothing that will keep you coming back for more 6.5/10

A magical girl/slice of life "JRPG" Blue Reflection is definitely not for those that want a fast pace game. Even the artstyle and music reflect the pace of this game. At times it felt more like a visual novel than jrpg but I did find it compelling enough to want to finish it.
- I loved the soft water color graphics; suited the story very well
- the music and ambient music was well done and helped keep you immersed in the story
- the combat I find a bit underwhelming and a bit too easy
- even though there was a lot of skills as you leveled up and increased your attributes I found I was going to the same ones over and over again so combat got stale quickly
- the story was okay, it ran with a lot of the standard anime tropes and had a good portion of fan service but I still paid attention to the plot all the way through.

All in all not a bad game, but I think it fits a very narrow niche and that's okay 7/10

A very short title, Bright Memory is made by a one man development team which is kinda impressive unto itself, considering what he's accomplished with this game.

- Graphically its beautiful
- Game play is quick and doesn't have any downtime
- Game mechanics are a bit clunky and unrefined with weird interfaces and odd hit boxes
- Story is a bit bare bones but serviceable
- Priced right for the short play through time.

Though I know its a separate title, Bright Memory seems to me to be demo for BM: Infinite albeit a very pretty demo.

As a oldtime pen and paper player, I'm a bit bias but I absolutely loved my time with this rendition of Battletech.
- The main story line was pretty solid with enough depth to keep me interested but I found the career mode much more compelling to play. Seeing how far I could go as a mercenary kept me interested.
- The audio in this game is spot on; the heavy footfalls, the comm chatter and those banks of LRMs firing off...oh my perfection.
- The graphics and mech appearance is great. The environments also are well done, though I wish it could be more varied.
- It can grow a bit repetitive at times but overall I enjoyed the mission variances.
- The game play mechs are fairly good with a good variety of options and the affects of your mech and warrior builds do seem to make a difference to accuracy and damage.
- As stated by many other people I wish the developer had fixed some of the known bugs that impact load times and gameplay.

Overall had a great time with this one and will go back every so often to play another mission. 8/10

A solid game overall.

- The nemesis system adds a nice element to the game play and its use allows you to control the scenario against the warchiefs if you don't want to rush in head on.
- The graphics holdup, the environments look good as well as the character animations, albeit it feels as if there is something missing in the overall look of it; its a bit too stark and barren.
- The story is okay, its a bit too light on immersion but the lore tidbits that you can pick up help that.
- The missions get very repetitive, you do end up doing the same ting over and over and the last two main missions do seem a bit rushed compared to the early main missions.
- The combat is responsive and quick; it should be it worked well in Batman Arkham Knight <<

Overall a good game and a solid 7.5/10 for me.
