Four nations, four goddesses, weird enemies, great story and characters, and of course plenty of Nep Nep.

This is where it all begins, the beginning of the Neptunia series, the place where you can transform into a powerful goddess, the place where people can lose their memories and be extremely dumb, the place where tsunderes are present but rare, the place where people get angry or happy over their chest size, the place where people can stay up for days and weeks playing games and watching anime without sleep, the place where mice can talk, the place where old hags are always evil, the place where pudding is the best food in the world and the best place for you to get your daily dose of Nep Nep.

The story is amazing with lovable characters and their hilarious interactions along with not so lovable villains that are still lovable in a way. If you’ve recently played a game that was really intense and you want to play something that’s more laid back, then this game is for you. Or if you just like laid back games in general, then this is something you should play.

So what are you waiting for? Your wonderful magical journey of Neptunia begins once you get this game!!

10/10 Would overdose on Nep Nep and get Nep Nep syndrome again

The best Neptunia spinoff in the series.

Another day, another Neptunia game to play. Although I'm not one for spinoffs all the time, this spinoff title is pretty good and is probably my favourite. The outfits for all the characters in this game also look amazing and are probably the best in any Neptunia game so far.

However in terms of character choices, it’s rather limited as this game only allows you to use 8 characters which are the 4 goddesses (Neptune, Noire, Blanc, Vert) along with their guardian goddess forms (Purple Heart, Black Heart, White Heart, Green Heart) and the 4 CPU candidates (Nepgear, Uni, Rom, Ram). Other lovable characters such as IF, Compa, Uzume and Plutia do make an appearance in this game, but they are unplayable characters because Compile Heart thought it would be a good idea to make them unplayable BUT HOW WRONG WERE THEY IN DOING SO. IF YOU’RE GOING TO INCLUDE THEM IN THE GAME, THEN THEY SHOULD BE PLAYABLE AS THERE’S NO POINT PUTTING THEM IN THE GAME IF THEY’RE NOT! THE GODDESSES ARE NOT AMUSED BY THIS!

Anyway, this game gives a very different vibe as compared to other Neptunia games due to the fact that it doesn’t feature a turn-based system like other Neptunia games, but instead it's a free roaming adventure style JRPG MMO game, which of course is a fresh experience for Neptunia games, though they really should work more on the movements and certain attack ranges and hitboxes not working properly sometimes.

Story wise, it's rather plain and straightforward. You're basically just going from dungeon to dungeon defeating monsters, gaining EXP, completing quests, defeating bosses that are not even considered bosses due to their stupidity and the fact that you can even defeat one with just your basic setup without any upgrades, which really baffles me but anyway…….

As for the multiplayer of this game, well……. let’s just say that it’s quite a shame due to the fact that it’s pretty much almost unplayable at this point with so many issues and bugs which I won’t list here cause it would make this review too long. If you can play a working match from start to end without any issues or cut offs in between, then consider yourself lucky.

But overall, I still think it’s a good game.

Half-life 2 is the best sci-fi first person shooter, the best Half-life game ever, and makes me want to change my name to Freeman.

Half-life is Valve's identity. It's what made Valve popular and successful today and it truly shows in the game. Gordon Freeman is easily one of my favourite video game protagonists of all time and Alyx Vance is one of my favourite female characters in any video game ever. Two spectacular characters on their own are already great, but when COMBINEd together, they create the best COMBINation of all time. The G-man is also one of the coolest characters I've ever seen.

I mean, Half-life 1 was already so amazing on its own that I wouldn't blame Valve if they just stopped there. But they didn't, instead they went one step further and refined the formula of Half-life even more and delivered this great game. The environment and level design in Half-life 2 is superior to Half-life 1, the puzzles are more interesting and the environments are more diverse and have more variety.

Look, I could write an entire book on why Half-life 2 is one of the greatest games of all time, but to make my life and your life easier, so that we both don't get HALF-LIFES (our life spans reduced by half), just ask yourself the following questions.

Is your favourite game company Valve?
Is your melee weapon of choice the crowbar?
Is your favourite scientific symbol 'λ'?
Is your favourite name Gordon?
Do you have so much free time that people call you 'Freeman'?
Do you like to keep robot pet dogs?
Is your best friend's name Alyx?
Do you like to see gigantic ant-like spiders?
Do you like to defy the laws of gravity with a gravity gun?
Do you own a biohazard suit that lets you run super fast and breathe underwater?
Is your employer a 'lawyer-like man with a briefcase' and talks with a deep voice?
Finally, DO YOU LIKE HALF-LIFE 2?

If your answer is 'Yes' to all of the above or just the last question, THEN HURRY UP AND GET THIS GAME BEFORE GORDON WHACKS YOU WITH HIS CROWBAR AND BEFORE VALVE RELEASES HL3!!

Left 4 dead is a timeless masterpiece and a relic that will go down in history as one of the best and most important games of all time.

At first glance, Left 4 dead may look like just a typical zombie co-op game, but it is more than that. There is so much about Left 4 dead that it does great. The survivors are one of the most iconic characters in any video game, to the point that even people who have never played Left 4 dead know who these people are. These include an army veteran who hates stairs, a college girl who thinks birds are ♥♥♥♥♥, an office worker who is addicted to pills, a biker dude who hates everything except vests, an ex-conman who loves tits, a news reporter who loves Francis for some reason, a gym coach who is addicted to cheeseburgers and a Texas-like cowboy mechanic who loves talking about his buddy Keith.

The same can be said about the infected. These include a hoodie jacket and sweat shirt wearing bastard, tongue guys, fat/roly-poly goiter men, gigantic one arms, leaping on your back ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, green acid-spewing long necks, super big freaking zombies and crying ladies. The survivors and infected all have a personality, identity and charm to them that makes them so likeable and memorable for everyone.

The environment and level design is also top-tier. They are fully detailed and are designed in a way that it tells a story to people without having to write it out in words, a game design that is rarely ever achieved in modern games today. The sound design is also amazing, when you’re fighting hordes of zombies or fighting boss infected, it sets the mood and tone of the game so well.

If you're wondering whether you should get L4D1 or L4D2, I would probably say just get L4D2, since all of the L4D1 content like maps and characters are available in L4D2 as well, and L4D2 also has much more content, along with plenty of community mods to play with. But personally I would recommend getting both games, as L4D1 also has its own charm and if you're interested to see how the L4D series started.

The community however may not really be the best, especially when playing with random people in certain game modes like Versus. Some of them are very ‘unwelcoming’ especially to new players so if you’re a new player then you might not want to play online yet, at least until you have better experience with the game. The modding community however is amazing and is still active even today, creating thousands of god-like mods that make the game even more fun to play.

Overall, the Left 4 dead series is something that you MUST play at least ONCE in your life. whether it be L4D1 or L4D2.
