Dragon slayer simulator 2018.

That pretty much sums up this game in a nutshell.

The story is good, characters are good, the performance is a little unstable and the resolution support is a little off at times but overall it runs fine for me. The style is pretty similar to other IF/CH games such as having to clear dungeons, defeating bosses and then moving on to the next chapter with repetitive battles and grinding. It’s nice that they used the same style, but I would have liked to see something different for this game since the general concept behind this game is really good and interesting, just that the implementation of the concept was mediocre at best.

In short, it’s not a bad game but there doesn’t seem to be anything about this game that really stands out from the other IF/CH games. I still enjoyed it though, so I would recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of IF/CH games in general.

One of the most underrated JRPGs of all time. Great potential, but poor implementation.

At first glance this game looks pretty interesting and it actually is, but the game overall is a mixed bag for me.

So let's talk about the good stuff first. The level design is good and the soundtrack is amazing, especially for the dungeon and boss fights, I actually think the soundtrack is the #1 selling point of this game since the game focuses a lot on music as its theme. You can also choose between playing as a male or female protagonist which is pretty cool.

Now for the not-so-good stuff about this game. The characters are not that interesting and are quite bland to be honest as I don't really feel anything about them at all and can't really connect with them. The enemy design is alright, though I felt like they mostly reused the same designs for most of the enemies, they could have added more different designs to make it more unique. The combat system is kind of bland and pretty confusing (at first) but even then it's kind of weird and I couldn't really get myself to like it. The difficulty is also pretty easy and doesn't really offer much of a challenge. The way it is, even if you’re about 10 levels lower than the enemy, you can still easily defeat them like you’re the same level as them even though you’re not, and it makes no sense to me. The boss fights are also not difficult at all, just have all party members use their Overdose skills and you can easily take away more than half of the boss’ health with ease.

Like I said earlier, this game is a mixed bag for me, there's some aspects I like but there's many things I don't like here. However I'm still going to give this a positive review just because I didn't get bored of it easily and I actually finished the game twice so it's not entirely bad. The game has a lot of potential, but fails to deliver it properly.

Machines, a cool looking world with cool looking enemies. A cool game overall. Oh and also 2B is here.

At first glance, the game might look dull due to its greyish and greenish coloring but don’t worry because this game is easily one of the most intriguing games you will probably play.

This is one of those games in which you would want to play more than once because there are different endings with new missions and secrets which makes the game more intriguing. Hence, the replay value for this game is up there.

The story and soundtrack is wonderful, the combat system is great and grinding for levels here isn’t as tedious and may not be necessary at times compared to other similar games. However, you may still need to grind sometimes, as enemies get stronger from time to time as well, but you don’t have to do overdo it that much.

The only thing that seems to bother most people (including myself) would be the performance and the fact that you have to install certain mods to actually make this game playable, which is kind of annoying and the fact that Square Enix couldn't be bothered to fix the game themselves.....

Overall though, when this game works it is amazing and I highly recommend for everybody to try at least once. So do yourself a favor and get this game not only because it’s amazing but also for the sake of mankind. Glory to Mankind!!!

Dungeon crawling at its best, along with buying gifts for blood maidens to make them happy or they will suck your blood and you will die (kidding).

This is easily one of the best dungeon crawler games I have played in recent memory. The story is well made, the dungeons and bosses are unique and not very repetitive, the music is rather suited and relaxing at times, the battle system is good, and let’s not forget about the characters, which is probably what makes most people play this game.

The only downside would be the graphics. Since this is a direct port from a PS Vita game, the graphics aren’t that appealing as it should be, although I was expecting it to look better on PC. But it’s not horrible either, so this is a rather minor thing I can overlook. The port overall is good in my opinion, the game runs really smooth and has great performance.

So if you like dungeon crawler games, you definitely shouldn’t miss out on this fantastic game.

More horror, more story, more mystery, more evil enemies. There is truly an evil within this game, twice as much now.

So I’ve played the first game for quite some time, and it was a terrifying but amazing experience. This one is just as good as the first game, although I do think that the two games need a better comparison to understand them better.

This game has a more refined story immersion and plot than the first game in my opinion. The first game’s story was kind of confusing to be honest as nothing really made sense at first, you’re basically running around fighting enemies that you don’t really know anything about and going to random areas with random occurrences happening here and there and such. This game however took the story to a whole new level that made sense, as it’s now clear what exactly is happening and who you’re truly fighting and such.

In terms of the horror elements however, I think the first game seems to be a little bit better due to the fact that the enemies seem to be more vicious and unforgiving compared to this game. The environment also seems to be more terrifying and unpredictable than this game.

So although the first game might've been the better horror game, this game’s story elements are more refined than the first game so either way it makes both games worth playing if you love survival horror.

One of the most underrated anime action RPGs. A mini Persona game.

I’m just going to put this out here; this game exceeded my expectations entirely. I wasn’t expecting this game to be that good at first to be honest, but after playing this for some time, I can say that it was worth my time.

The plot and story is really intriguing, and the characters are very interesting and you can feel a connection with them when playing as them. The combat system is action based and the level designs are pretty good, although it gets very repetitive after a while, the soundtrack is pretty good though.

I also see a lot of people comparing this to the Persona series, and they do share some similar plots such as a high school student getting involved in something that he never expected to get involved in, and so his life changes because of that. But to be honest the level designs, monster and boss fights in Persona are way more unique and challenging than this.

Overall, I am impressed with the game and although this isn't very popular, I would still recommend this to people who like anime action RPGs because this game is still pretty good if you ask me.

Lots of death, lots of blood, but good characters to complement it. A Sword Art Online clone.

When I first saw this, I was hyped as this game just came out of nowhere. And for some reason, I knew from the very beginning that this game would be spectacular, and I was right.

Like every typical Idea Factory/Compile Heart (IF/CH) game, there are adorable characters with interesting personalities in this game, so you won’t have to worry about playing as bland and plain characters here. The soundtrack is also pretty good.

One thing to take note of is that there will be times where you will have to make choices in order to proceed through the game. Picking the wrong choice will result in a death end (game over). Be sure to save your game whenever you can in case you mess up the choices. This doesn’t apply to all the choices though, only certain ones.

If you’re wondering whether this game is gory or not, well to be honest I don’t think it is, I mean you do see some death scenes and blood splattering on the screen at times when someone dies but other than that it’s nothing much really. This isn’t a horror game so no worries.

There also seems to be some Sword Art Online (SAO) elements in this game, like for instance dying in World’s Odyssey means you’ll die in the real world. And perhaps Arata Mizunashi and Shina Ninomiya’s relationship is similar to Kirito and Asuna’s relationship from SAO? Are all these easter eggs a nod to SAO fans? We may never know.

Overall, I have to say that I thoroughly enjoy playing this game a lot. This may very well be the second best IF/CH game that I have ever played so far (the first being Neptunia). I highly recommend this game to all IF/CH fans as this is truly a hidden gem.

Lara Croft back again, shining brightly in the shadow of the world and her inner self.

The Tomb Raider series never fails to amaze me with its beautiful sceneries, realistic cutscenes and amazing plot and storyline. And this game managed to take all those features to the next level.

I can see a huge improvement in the story of this game which is more immersive, breathtaking and better than that of Rise of the tomb raider, and I can feel a greater sense of adventure and exploration in this game too. The weapons you use are quite similar to the other Tomb Raider games but the skills and upgrades you can obtain are different, giving a unique experience. The combat system is also well done and not excessive, as compared to Rise of the tomb raider which overdid the combat a little too much.

The challenge tombs are also more interesting and harder than the other Tomb Raider games, which is a good thing as I always enjoy a good challenge and cracking my head to solve puzzles. The graphics in this game are also extremely good.

Overall, I enjoyed playing this game very much and as a fan of the Tomb Raider series, my survival instincts and thirst for adventure was very well satisfied with this game. This is a must try for Tomb Raider fans and those who love adventure games.

Sadistic woman simulator 2014.

I must say that I am very pleased with this game as they finally brought back the roots, the original style of the story to what it was like in Rebirth 1.

This game generally did much better than Rebirth 2 not only in the story, but also with the introduction of new unique characters to play as and new enemies. The battle interface and system is also new and improved.

Speaking about characters, there is a particularly interesting character in this game that may send shivers down your spine or get you excited; a sadistic woman that will show you what it means to squeal, cry and beg for mercy while she finds pleasure in giving you pain. So try not to make her angry if possible.

Overall, this is a wonderful Neptunia game and I highly urge all Neptunia fans to play this, after playing Rebirth 1 and 2 of course.

Oh yeah, did I tell you not to make Iris Heart angry because you’ll be in serious trouble if you do?

10/10 Would make Iris Heart angry again and suffer the consequences

Little sister moe simulator 2014.

Have you ever wished that you had a little sister? Have you ever wished that you had four little sisters? Have you ever wished to be in control of your four little sisters? Then you’ve come to the right game.

This game takes place after Rebirth 1, only this time you’re using the little sisters (CPU candidates) instead of the four goddesses. It has a different pace of events and story, along with a different view and perspective, which isn’t a bad thing, but I felt that it was a little bland compared to Rebirth 1. The gameplay style however is similar to Rebirth 1.

Now there is one particular thing about the game that everyone seems to have mixed views on and everyone seems to pick on the game because of this thing, and that is the conquest ending. I’m not going to spoil it here, but it’s not a pretty ending, in fact it’s quite gory and bloody. Personally, I wasn’t really scared when I saw it, but I did feel a little bit sad. But I don’t think it’s fair to use this to judge whether the game is good or bad as what some people do. It was rather unexpected, sure, but just remember that this isn’t the only ending you can get in this game as there are other good endings too so……

To cut to the chase, Rebirth 2 isn’t a bad game, but it felt somewhat lacking in the story as compared to Rebirth 1, which did an amazing job with the story. Overall though, this is still a good game. Especially for those who love little sisters…….
