This game is outstanding. It not only deserves every nomination, but so much more. I took a shot on it after only seeing 5 minutes of gameplay, and it was one of the best choices I made this season. I've already replayed it 3 more times after playing once. Go in blind, it's two hours of your time, and worth every minute. This type of horror is so fantastically well-executed, and I really do hope it wins all the awards it's nominated for, because it deserves every one.

While I loved the game's aesthetics, its current state isn't a playable one. The game is struggling with a lot of bugs, the survivor's prop ability is not balanced properly and allows them to easily overrun the killer, and the matchmaking is broken because it ignores preference by slotting you into what role needs filling without compensation, and the killers are just not threatening. I was looking forward to this game- however, it simply wasn't what I thought it was.

Don't get me wrong: The game looks gorgeous. One thing I think the game does well is just how clean it looks. And some people are dedicated to the game and its growth. However, in its current state, I believe the game still has to grow a lot more before it can be what it's advertised itself as. If buying this game is something you're insistent upon, I suggest waiting for it to go on sale. Otherwise, a game like DBD or even Garry's Mod Prophunt is worth more of your time and money in its state.

This game is incredible. You have to go into it blind to get the full experience. But if you do, you will be so happy you did. It's a genuine delight of a game, and I never regret the day that I bought it. Kaycee's mod, the ever-expanding gauntlet mode, is also absolutely incredible.
