While the way TDA Plays, it is not my favourite Doom game. I will say that TDA is incredibly gripping and fun in it's own right

The Difficulty modifiers can be fun on either end of the settings, if you want slower, much easier gameplay with assists and everything, you can have it. If you want brutal, breakneck speed gameplay, you can also have that.

The graphics are beautiful. And run pretty well [70FPS] The environments and levels are beautiful, and some feel strikingly familiar to where we've already been in previous games, which is a relief for me.

Now, I didn't like The Story or Soundtrack as much as I did in the previous games. In the OST'S case, I'm willing to forgive and forget about how I'm not a huge fan of it. As a modern Doom Soundtrack, it's mostly underwhelming, but as music in it's own right, it's quite good. But that is of course only my opinion. You are free to love or hate the soundtrack, I just simply don't think it's a fantastic DOOM OST.

The gameplay, while not particularly my cup of tea, is amazing in it's own right, with a brilliant flow to "the fun zone" of TDA. I like the Parry and Melee system, however I think some of the guns leave ample room for improvment.


Would I reccomend TDA? It really, really depends on what you like from the previous games.

If your a doom fan in general, you'd mess with TDA greatly, so yes.

If your a doom eternal gameplay lover, and just want more of eternal. Then TDA isn't that. It feels like a better take on Doom 2016 with how it plays in my opinion. So if you loved 2016's gameplay, then i'd say yes. Because TDA feels like an improvment on how 2016 played.

Yeah no, this game sucks ass.

I say this as someone who put hundreds of hours into Overwatch 1. The CLEARLY superior game in every single way compared to this dumpster fire.

Doesn't have nude leon in base game, not worth the buy for that reason only. Otherwise a great game

game is poggers and i simp for majima because he is my husdando and i couldnt get enough of seeing hid beeautiful face while he plaays around like a silly boy in mamourocho

Doom Eternal is one of if not THE best FPS game i've ever played, and I love my FPS games. But nothing comes close to how Eternal plays. Sure there are games that are kind similair, but even those shoot off in their own direction.
