I had this game wishlisted for a while now and I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately the "real world" physics are just not there. Early in the campaign you quickly figure out the most challenging aspect of this game is the little pebbles scattered all about. These small rocks could topple empires, and you should pray for mercy if one lies in your path. With one touch, a 200hp grader is rendered helpless to a 10lb rock. Jokes aside they suck they don't sink into the ground under you're wheels instead they become lodged under you for you to reset your vehicle time and time again. There's of course other issues like no manual shifting, vehicle torque the equivalent to a man peddling a bicycle, and controls more annoying than that one co-worker who heats up fish in the break room. Overall I'm very disappointed because it had the potential to be a real earth works, road craft kind of game and just fell short. Hopefully this will be addressed in updates, but we all know it wont so I requested a refund. :'(((

Playing this game brings back memories of the old school Battlefront and Battlefront II. Definitely an improvement over EA's first Battlefront in almost all areas. You have the decent campaign and the much missed instant action, from its predecessor games. A little grindy at first but it doesn't take long to unlock the better weapons evening the playing field.

For starters I'm not big on reviews but something had to be said here. I am not new to the BF games at all, I played this game for 30 minutes and was almost ashamed for the Battlefield series. Looks pretty but that's about it, the gameplay is sluggish to be a fps. When I first started playing it felt like my character had drunk a whole bottle of vodka and had been given a gun for the first time. I understand weapon sway for realism but did you have to make player characters lethargic. Maybe the experience would have been more fun with a discord squad but I would never suggest this game to a friend, and on top of that everyone I play with told me not to waste money on this game. Lesson learned, 10/10 would request refund again. Do yourself a favor and get Battlefront II, much better game.

Love the game and its mechanics, can't wait until there's more content.

I would not recommend this game, unless you enjoy having all your work destroyed by other players. Each spawn you'll get approximately 30 minutes of game play before you'll run into some rager. People run around killing each other for no apparent reason. Not to give the game a terrible review. The game mechanics are great and im sure if you were on a limited private server the game would be very enjoyable.
