Early Access Review
The game's VR aspect needs some work but it's very fun otherwise to fiddle around in. It's way better optimized than the first version of the game and there's more interesting things that can happen to planets, like exploding, or ripping into pieces, or having craters, etc.

Is it worth $25? Eeehhh I'm a bit on the fence. I'd bump it down $5 if I were them but I don't know how much development actually costs for these guys. There's a lot of scary math that goes into this.

Yeah, the VR is kinda janky. But the planets are cool af! Exploding planets is awesome! I'd prob wait for a sale tho. 💸

Discarded my old review, since I can play this now.

Very sorry, this is now fixed. We just rolled back to Update 20.1.1, the update before our 20.1.2 release on Friday which caused this issue.

If Steam doesn't automatically download this update, just restart Steam completely and it should download it.

As far as we can tell, this issue only affected Windows 7 users, which is why we didn't catch it when testing. We are looking into this now so we can resolve it for the next release. Sorry once again for the issue. We hope you can now enjoy a better experience of Universe Sandbox ². :)

Because the devs do what I do when I code stuff. I have no QA department and I have no time to test things myself so I let the community do it. :P

Yeah . . . it's a shame. Something just as gamebreaking as this already happened once recently. I don't like to criticise a game I've had a positive experience with, but how did a problem this severe slip through for a second time? :steamfacepalm:
