A Thrilling Tactical Experience with Room for Growth

Ready or Not" is a remarkable return to the tactical shooter genre, bringing the intensity of SWAT operations in the fictional city of Los Sueños to life. In a world where many modern games are plagued by microtransactions and cosmetic-driven content, this game stands out as a breath of fresh air, offering a grounded, immersive experience that focuses on realism and strategy rather than flashy gimmicks.

In "Ready or Not," you assume the role of a SWAT team leader amidst a crime wave, navigating high-stakes missions that demand precision, teamwork, and quick thinking. My experience playing with AI teammates in a non-modded setup was mixed—while the game shines in its atmosphere and tactical elements, there are some notable issues with AI behavior that occasionally detract from the immersion. Despite these challenges, the AI does its job most of the time, though there were moments where I felt their handling could have been smoother, especially during complex maneuvers.

The game’s environment and storytelling are two areas where it truly excels. Each map is rich with detail, painting a vivid picture of the crime-ridden streets of Los Sueños. I found myself deeply engaged in the roleplay aspect, not just as a member of the SWAT team, but as someone uncovering the darker sides of the city with every mission. The atmosphere pulls you in, making every operation feel significant and tense.

One area where "Ready or Not" could improve is its AI and occasional lag issues, which can be frustrating at times. However, these drawbacks are overshadowed by the game’s core strengths, and I couldn’t help but love it despite the minor technical hiccups. The DLC content further enhances the experience, and I found myself craving more as I completed each new mission.

I look forward to seeing where the developers take this game in the future. With more updates, refinements, and additional content, "Ready or Not" has the potential to become a long-lasting staple in the tactical shooter genre. For now, it’s a thrilling, immersive experience that any fan of tactical shooters should check out.

Thank you, "Ready or Not," for an unforgettable experience!
