Basic Information
Who am I
I'm a game reviewer that creates content for Youtube & TapTap [www.taptap.io] I'm actively looking to work with any media outlet if you're scouting around and in need for freelance workers.

I spend my entire time reviewing and editing existing guides for video games that I manage myself, as well as managing communities on Reddit and Discord. I would describe myself as a non-starter when it comes to conversations. If you want to attract my attention, simply ask me a question, and I will react almost immediately if not in a few moments, unless I am busy / asleep.

Regarding Reviews
Interested in me covering your game with game play & review? Use Curator Connect or you can alternatively email me at TheYordleScout@gmail.com with the title "Steam Reviews."

Games
I'm willing to try anything as I don't have a particular preference. Outside of games that are overrun with youngsters, I don't have a strong dislike for much. That is, games like Roblox, Fortnite, Call of Duty, and others I will simply avoid because the environment is and unhealthy one in my opinion.

In general I will often play a game for a minimum of 30mins to 2 hours before giving a review, based on it's functionality and overall aesthetic. If it fails to deliver, I will often stop early. However, if it is a good game. You'll see me easily sink as many hours as I can manage in whenever I can.

Giveaways
I give away thousands of dollars worth of giveaway copies I receive from developers after having reviewed and covered their games. If you'd like to participate in them, follow my Curation and join my Steam Group for announcements. I'd rather others be able to appreciate gaming as much as I do.

I've never felt this overwhelmingly connected before
I've played a large list of Visual Novels over the years, some of which have emotionally crushed me, some of which have been quite well-written and have stayed with me to this day, but holy... I've never felt this conflicted with myself after playing through one of them. It's not depressing because it's sad... it's depressing because it's so overwhelmingly relatable. It's so real; it's so down to earth that it doesn't feel like a game or a visual novel, but rather like I'm staring at myself in a mirror with each and every one of the individuals you'll meet. I can't express how it moved me, because it's hard to put into words.

Like, all I want to do now is expose this game to everyone and get as many people as possible to try it for themselves, more than any other game I've played. The music, the visual design and direction, the emotions, the struggles. I'd like to stress that if you've recently experienced some trauma in your life especially with friends, family and any other situations, it wouldn't be a good idea for you to sit down and play through it, since I don't want to bring you any more suffering and it might even go as far as to make things you're going through right now and harder to heal.

The unfortunate thing is that I want so many other people to enjoy this game, but it's unlikely that they will because Visual Novels are typically deemed niche and undesirable to the average gamer. I'd want to stress that I am a general gamer. I participate in the majority of games that others do. I play Final Fantasy, Valorant, Apex, League of Legends, Action Roguelikes, Racing, and every other genre you can think of and I too prefer those other genres. I'm not very interested in Visual Novels because I have ADHD, which makes it difficult for me to focus when there isn't something to occupy my attention.

This could refer to the music being played, the characters and their relationship, story & twists, or voice acting. There has to be something for me to be able to latch onto, yet Until Then drew me in without even having to try. I did not have an option. I was glued to my seat for all 19.6 hours, which is how long this experience lasted, not 9 like many reviewers have posted at.

Conclusion
You are definitely getting your money's worth here. It's more than a reasonable fee for an experience you'll only have once in a lifetime. Even if you don't feel like playing this game at this very moment, just like the thousands of other games you have on your Steam Library, seriously. Please give it a chance, especially if you have friends that you know enjoy emotional experiences. I hope this developer succeeds with their creation so that we may see more stories from them.
