Final Fantasy VII is a masterpiece which everyone should at least consider picking up. From gameplay to story, FF7 blows other RPGs of the time out of the water, and still keeps up to this day. The themes and messages this game is trying to push are so good and the world is crafted excellently.

Until the other two parts of the remake come out, this is the definitive Final Fantasy experience in my opinion. Here's hoping they don't change too much and keep the story focused.

If you mod the game with 7th Heavan Mod Manager then you can avoid the potato graphics if you care about it that much, or just want a fresh paint of coat. In no way is modding nececarry though, this game is near perfection without them.

Pretty fun side story with everyone's favorite boulder-puncher. Although, I think Chris might be an impostor in this game.

This is a stealth mission. If you enjoy light stealth then you should like this. Otherwise I don't think you should play it, instead watch a youtube video to get the cutscenes. That is, in my opinion, the meat of this DLC. I was super interested in seeing more of Natalia after the ending of the base game.

I also thought the music and atmosphere were quite good. Nothing else like it has ever really been attempted in the rest of the game, or maybe even the series. Reminds me of Silent Hill a little bit, or the spirit orb quests from Twilight Princess/Skyward Sword (can't remember which one).

The Struggle covers the six months after you get separated from Moira. There is a bit of narration explaining some story bits not in the main game. I do not think this is really essential to the experience if that's what you're looking for. You can skip it and not miss much.

Gameplay wise this isn't very good. You have to gather meat for retries. If you are out of meat when you die, you have to go back to the main menu and start again. Not that it's hard enough for there to be a risk of dying five times in a row. Each level consists of either holding out while waves of enemies attack, or hunting rabbits, giant spiders, and snakes. The catch is that some levels have time limits. Run out of time and you lose a life.

Overall I wouldn't really recommend playing this DLC. Watch the cutscenes on youtube if you really want.

Very solid RE game. Better than 6 and Revelations 1

Concept is strong, but I got bored very fast. It's cool for the first few matches but I just have 0 motivation to play this instead of Dead by Daylight.

All of my hours are from mod troubleshooting.

I have never enjoyed Skyrim. Not in 2011 when it came out, not now with a lot of mods. I can't even really pinpoint why, because I adore Fallout and they share similar DNA. Just something about this game really makes me bored. Might write more after trying again.

It's frustrating. You'll probably want to punch a boulder or something after falling, but it is nice when you reach a new area or pull off a cool maneuver.

Over a year ago I started playing through every Resident Evil game. For a while I was making a pretty good pace since the games aren't that long. Then came Resident Evil 6.

This game took me around half a year to finish solely because playing it actively made me upset. I couldn't stomach doing more than a chapter at a time, and would often take a month long break between them. Playing this game is just so... sad. It's sad seeing everything I love about the series be replaced with quick time events and explosions.

This game is also way, way, way too long. I was ready to be done after the first campaign, but I still had three to go. Every time I played the mechanics which were originally new and fun quickly became more and more dull. I can only perform wrestling moves on monster so many times before it loses its cool.

If you put these mechanics on another game I might actually like it. It is inherently fun to flip and flop around on the floor guns blazing. That's why I think that the mercenaries is the best thing in the package. Just some arcade fun with intuitive controls. But when you throw these mechanics on a game that is way too long and never switch it up... well it gets stale.

Also Leon is a shell of his former self and it makes me upset.

I'm very excited to move onto Resident Evil Revelations 2 and Resident Evil 7. Both look to be a step in the right direction (especially 7).
