As a big fan of Metroidvania games and Soulsborne games, i can easily recommend this game. It has alot of features from the afamed Bloodborne such as healing vials and the weapon leveling system but has the exploration of a old 2D castlevania.
Only con i can see so far is that you die immediately when falling in holes or touching spikes and part of the metroidvania is exploration.

I missed 10 chests for a perfect. 10/10 would search again.

10/10 Will go back to school again!

I've recently started playing this again now that it is released and i've got to say its one of the best roguelike games i've played. With each playthrough you see more and more of the story and the game doesn't give away it secrets like how to do companion quests nor how to get a good synergy with other God skills. It leaves you to figure that out while pushing you to keep playing.

TLDR: This game fills that void that Diablo 2 left all those years ago but does have some issues.

So i played this a few years back and didn't like it much. I still have issues following the story but the gameplay is where it is at. Once i got to the endgame there was plenty to do: Collect beasts, delve, mapping, etc. I do wish there was more info on how stuff works(such as the Syndicate in Act 9) and that we could play it more often during the main quest, but unfortunately you have to look online for tutorials and wait until you complete all ten acts to participate.

But with all these options I have continued to play this game and haven't gotten bored yet.

I was somewhat interested in this game with it's initial trailer. After playing through the campaign i will definitely say it was worth the playthrough. Though it is a pretty short game(~8 hours for me) so grab this game if you see it on sale.

Overall this is a good completion for the trilogy. It lacks the consistent action the first two games provided but is still worth a full playthrough.

I'll think i'll stick with Terraria...
